In just one week, four federal courts have said no, and the US Senate voted the same way. The vaccine mandate is crumbling. Earlier this fall, Jabbin’ Joe Biden issued his commands in no uncertain terms: OSHA will mandate that all employers of over a hundred people must force their employees to accept these experimental Covid-19 vaccines. Every federal department must mandate that all their federal employees accept it too. All federal contractors and health care workers, all members of the military, must take it as well. There is no freedom anymore; the days of human rights are over. Uncle...

President can, legally, use the military in combat operations (including sending Tomahawk missiles into an airfield in Syria) without congressional approval, or even letting them know he's going to do so in the first place There has been a lot of discussion about whether or not the attack on an airfield by American Tomahawk missiles in early April of 2017 was a constitutional action by President Donald J. Trump, despite the fact that the military action occurred prior to the President receiving some kind of congressional approval for it.

The State Department is hosting a two-day conference on the world's oceans, beginning today, and it's expected to produce a raft of announcements and initiatives, including new marine protected areas -- one off the coast of New England -- as well as a ban on single-use plastic bags. Ahead of the conference, press reports said President Obama on Thursday will establish the first national marine monument in the Atlantic Ocean to permanently protect nearly 5,000 square miles of underwater canyons and mountains off the coast of New England. The White House said the designation will lead to a ban on...

Texas and 10 other states are suing the Obama administration over a new directive about transgender students in public schools. The lawsuit announced Tuesday also includes Oklahoma, Alabama, Wisconsin, West Virginia, Tennessee, Maine, Oklahoma, Louisiana, Utah and Georgia. The challenge follows a federal directive to U.S. schools this month to let transgender students use the bathrooms and locker rooms that match their gender identity. …

President Barack Obama says a functioning American democracy is what's at stake in November's elections. He says it's important to elect leaders who believe compromise isn't a dirty word, who listen to those who disagree with them and respect those who are unlike them.

Natural gas overtook coal as the top source of U.S. electric power generation for the first time ever earlier this spring, a milestone that has been in the making for years as the price of gas slides and new regulations make coal more risky for power generators. About 31 percent of electric power generation in April came from natural gas, and 30 percent from coal, according to a recently released report from the research company SNL Energy, which used data from the U.S. Energy Department. Nuclear power came in third at 20 percent. A drilling boom that started in 2008...

Is it Time for Civil Disobedience? “Is this the act of a government worthy of our respect?” When the government rules by illegitimate means, is it legitimate to peacefully stand in defiance and disobey? The answer to this question is a reluctant “yes.” I have thought about this question for a long time and, as a former police officer and federal agent who pledged his life to upholding and enforcing the law, I take this call to action very seriously. In a piece (http://www.bornfreeamericanwoman.com/blog/) out yesterday by Becky Gerritson of the Wetumpka Tea Party, a group victimized by the IRS...

Could Barack Obama's great week mark a turning point in his poll numbers?

After months of stagnant approval ratings, a new CNN/ORC poll finds that for the first time in more than two years, 50% of Americans approve of the way Obama is handling the presidency. And his overall ratings are bolstered by increasingly positive reviews of his treatment of race relations and the economy.

On June 17, a truly evil and racist high school dropout, Dylann Roof, shot and killed nine black Christians in one of Charleston, South Carolina's oldest and most well-known black churches, Emanuel AME Church. Among the murdered was the Rev. Clementa Pinckney, ordained when he was 18. There are not enough words to condemn this despicable act. As a Messianic Jew – I refer to myself as a Jewish Christian – I can try to relate a little from the history of pogroms and violence that Jews have experienced throughout the years. We cringe to hear of such tragedies. Instantly,...

President Obama faced off with a heckler during a reception celebrating LGBT Pride Month at the White House, telling the person “you’re in my house.” Obama was interrupted shortly after beginning his speech to the crowd by a person who repeatedly shouted the president’s name. “No, no, no , no. Listen, you’re in my house,” Obama told the person. “You’re not going to get a good response from me by interrupting me like this,” Obama said. But the heckler would not let up, despite Obama’s pleas, boos from the crowd and chants of “Obama! Obama!” The president became visibly irritated,...

The recent cyber theft of millions of personnel records from the federal government was sophisticated and potentially crippling, but hackers with just rudimentary skills could easily do even more damage by targeting voting machines, according to security experts. In many cases, even the electronic ballots could be manipulated remotely, according to a new report. The report found that the AVS WINVote machines Virginia has used since 2002 have such flimsy security that an amateur hacker could change votes from outside a polling location. “This means anyone could have broken into the machines from the parking lot,” said Cris Thomas, a...

Since President Barack Obama took office on Jan. 20, 2009, the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued 3,373 new final regulations, equaling 29,770 pages in the Federal Register and totaling approximately 29,770,000 words, according to a count of the regulations published in the Federal Register. The Gutenberg Bible is only 1,282 pages and 646,128 words. This means the new EPA regulations issued by the Obama Administration contain 23 times as many pages as the Bible and 46 times as many words. The Federal Register publishes documents, including proposed rules, notices, interim rules, corrections, drafts of final rules and final rules....

(CNSNews.com) - Speaking in his weekly address yesterday, President Barack Obama defended his unilateral actions that would allow illegal aliens to stay in the United States, work, and receive federal benefits. The “law is on our side,” Obama said. Administration action on that amnesty is currently forbidden by an injunction issued by a federal court and upheld by a federal appeals court. “Last fall, I took action to provide more resources for border security; focus enforcement on the real threats to our security; modernize the legal immigration system for workers, employers, and students; and bring more undocumented immigrants out of...

There was more talk at the White House Thursday about whether President Obama really would “close tax loopholes” on his own. White House spokesman Josh Earnest said the president “is very interested” in working with Congress, but nothing’s “off the table” when it comes to Obama exploring the options for using his executive authority. There’s nothing to announce right now, he added. “So to the extent that there’s a lot of fretting and hand-wringing on Capitol Hill, I would urge them to not lose any sleep over this, but rather maybe it’s worth burning a little midnight oil to try...

First Lady Michelle Obama’s visit to a Buddhist Temple in Kyoto is costing taxpayers nearly $80,000 for rental cars, according to a government contract. Mrs. Obama, who is traveling to Japan and Cambodia for a girls’ education initiative, will arrive in Kyoto, Japan, on Friday. According to the White House press office, “The First Lady will travel to Kyoto on March 20 and visit the Kiyomizu-Dera Buddhist Temple and the Fushimi Inari Shinto Shrine. She will also greet staff from the U.S. Consulate in Osaka.” …

The Obama administration is set to unveil the first major nationwide safety restrictions on fracking, touching off a fresh political confrontation between the president and his critics in Congress and the energy industry. The Interior Department’s rules — expected to be released Friday morning — are the federal government’s most comprehensive foray to date toward regulating the technology at the heart of the U.S. oil and gas boom, addressing worries such as potential dangers to drinking water. They will also offer oil and gas supporters new room to accuse President Barack Obama of seeking to throttle fossil-fuel production, despite his...

In 2014, American households saw the largest electricity price increases in 6 years, according to government data, as utilities are forced to use more green energy and invest in energy efficiency and grid improvements. Energy Information Administration data shows that U.S. residential electricity prices “experienced large increases in retail electricity prices during 2014, with the average U.S. residential price increasing 3.1% over the previous year.” Last year’s price increase was the highest of any year since 2008 when prices rose 5.7 percent. “Residential electricity rate increases during 2014 ranged from 1.3% in the Pacific Coast states to 9.9% in New...

President Barack Obama says college affordability isn’t just important for students, but for the nation as well. Obama told thousands gathered at Georgia Tech Tuesday that he is trying to make it easier for them to pay back student loans. He is aiming to clamp down on the private companies that service federal student debt. He acknowledged the modest move isn’t a “silver bullet.” But he says America needs the world’s most skilled and best educated workforce to compete in the global economy. …

White House is declining to say whether President Barack Obama has a private email account like one used by former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton that has sparked a political furor. White House spokesman Eric Schultz said Tuesday aboard Air Force One en route with Obama to Atlanta that the White House doesn't discuss Obama’s email account publicly to guard the security of the president’s communications. He said, however, that anything Obama sends or receives is preserved, including his emails with Clinton. …

A coalition of states suing to stop President Barack Obama’s executive action on immigration alleges the government misled a judge about not implementing part of the plan before the judge temporarily halted it. The allegation comes after the Justice Department said in court documents this week that federal officials had given 100,000 people three-year reprieves from deportation and granted them work permits under a program that protects young immigrants from deportation if they were brought to the U.S. illegally as children. Justice Department attorneys had previously said federal officials wouldn't accept requests under an expansion of the 2012 Deferred Action...
