Free Republic

Sorry for the vanity, but I wanted to throw this out there in case it hadn't been observed/discussed before. If it has, my apologies. I noticed this morning on my laptop that Free Republic was loading BLAZINGLY fast. The main listing of articles appeared almost instantly as well as any article selected appeared instantly. I thought, WOW! They've really done some work to get the site to run this fast! Later on my desktop, I saw that the site was the speed I was accustomed to (sorry, not complaining!!) but it was quite a bit slower to list and view...

My wifes e-mails to her sister in NH are being returned as spam. She uses her e-mail address at work as she has been for years. Any suggestions as where to start to look for the cause and solution of this problem

Can anyone help me? I have a computer here (My brothers actually) that constantly turns on and off by itself. Sometimes it doesn't even let you boot up until the 4th or 5th self-rebooting....it tries and then starts over and over again. I remember not too long ago a virus did this and was hoping someone in here could tell me what virus did that....and how I can fix it? It won't let you get online either..... No...he did not have a firewall and let Norton expire......I yelled at him already.... :)

60 gigabytes. Never had problems with it. Yesterday Windows XP froze a few times. Then the computer refused to boot up again. Boot sector wiped out? I can deal with that! I then installed this drive as a slave and it wasn't recognized... was invisible. With Partition Magic this hard drive shows up as 60 gig of (exact words) unallocated space. It had 3 partitions which are now all gone. I used the Western Digital Utilities and the hard drive checks out as being in good shape. No errors. I was using Norton Anti Virus.
