IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR THE SUMMER TIME During hot weather make sure you follow these simple rules - it could save your bulldog's life DON'T take your dog outside during the day. Shut him in a room with a cool floor and draw the curtains to keep the sunlight out, if you do this early enough it will prevent the room from becoming warm as the sun comes into the room. Have an electric fan running in the room to keep the air circulating and make sure there is fresh water available at all times, put a dribble of apple cider...

I've looked all over FR but can't find the "How-to" section. Italics and bold are easy, but I can't find the code to make a link clickable.

Family-oriented activists and groups were alarmed last fall when WND reported that officials were considering using in their schools a sexually-explicit "how to be promiscuous" guide that condemned traditional values and promoted homosexuality and abortion to young girls. Their alarm eventually defeated that education agenda. But now the book is back. While that wave of grass-roots reaction against the publication put those school plans on indefinite hold in 2006, the book now is returning, with an announcement from St. Stephen's House Community Center in Toronto that the new edited and "corrected" version is available. The original product was called...

I need help arising out of both my own indolence and industry. How do I search over 2000 replies wihthout manually bringing each one up and reading the whole lot? If I must do that, how can I start at the beginning? How can I print the list out without attending to each page? The problem, I know, is caused by my own indolence in not separately saving these replies in some sort of filing system. I would grateful for help. Nathan

See? Piece o' cake. The "Topics" option is where you select from a series of, well, topics, including the "ignore" topic. I should warn you, however...if you do want to post a test thread, choosing the "ignore" option will get you at least twenty thread-hits. Also stay away from any mention of moose, cheese, pit bulls... Just like a regular thread response, you can preview your masterpiece before posting. I usually skip this option. I'm a big fan of typos, split infinitives, and the improper use of apostrophies.

    PS Magazine ^ | Jan 2003 | U.S. Army Materiel Command
I found this interesting image at the U.S. Army Logistics Command's PS Magazine site today. If you're an Army veteran (or an Army brat!) you know PS -- it's the world's only monthly comics magazine dedicated to the maintenance and upkeep of military vehicles and equipment in the field. Click over to the official PS Magazine website and note the locale of the flea-bitten GI depicted in Joe Kubert's cover for the January issue: the "field" is depicted as a sandy desert, where sunscreen and sand-flea repellent are necessary and from where soldiers are encouraged to write home. Sound like...

This is the Opinion / Questions thread, and this is a question: How to post an image in a reply? Not a link to an image, but the image itself. There are inline images in some of the posts and they don't seem to be links. I tried to cut and paste but Netscape Navigator didn't allow a PASTE operation, although the COPY worked from the image. Thanks for any hel-p- on this.

I would appreciate some assistance in setting up my 'topics'. Questions: Do the articles posted in the 'center' section reflect ONLY those topics I am subscribed to? Does my topics sidebar "limit" the articles that I get to see?Any assistance you can give me would be appreciated. This entire new 'topics' issue is most confusing. THANKS!
