Malaysia has decided it would rather not host the 67th FIFA Congress next year, as it means hosting an Israeli delegation as part of it. Malaysia was scheduled to host the Congress in its capital city of Kuala Lumpur on May 11-12, 2017. It refused to issue visas to Israeli delegates, and therefore had to relinquish the hosting rights. Malaysian Deputy Prime Minister Zahid Hamidi said his country could not provide visas to Israeli officials because of the lack of diplomatic ties with Israel and because "local sensitivities" might be riled up. "Some of the conditions of hosting the event...

Former Gov. Ed Rendell says Donald Trump’s message on trade is largely correct, but that his tone is sometimes wrong on the subject. Rendell, who is the chair of the Democratic convention host committee, made the comments on SiriusXM radio’s The Dean Obeidallah Show. “The interesting thing is, I talk about China and the fact that China took advantage of us in trade and cost Pennsylvania some significant jobs, and I quoted Donald Trump in the book,†Rendell said, noting Trump backed him heavily when he ran for governor. Rendell’s 2012 book praises Trump as “a friend†who is right...

There was to be a “Black Mass” performance at the Oklahoma City Civic Center on September 21, using a consecrated Host. But after Oklahoma City Archbishop Paul Coakley succeeded in getting a judge to issue a restraining order, on the grounds that the Host had been stolen, the attorney for the Satanic group returned the Host to a Catholic priest. The archbishop then dropped his lawsuit. Here is how the story played out over the summer. When we learned of this scheduled performance, we issued a news release on July 2 calling attention to what a “Black Mass” entails. We...

MSNBC host Michael Eric Dyson on Wednesday lashed out at Sarah Palin, accusing the conservative of committing "treason" against Barack Obama by calling for the President´s impeachment. A Texas talk show host stormed off set Tuesday after a heated discussion was ignited when she expressed disapproval of coverage showing Michael Sam kissing his boyfriend. “Can we just agree that this was an opportunity to make news?” KTXD-TV’s “The Broadcast” host Amy Kushnir asked. “He has every right to do what he wants, that’s not my issue,” she added. “I just don’t want it in my face.” “Well, then maybe you don’t need to see romantic comedies or when people kiss on television,” one of the co-hosts shot back. “Why does she not have the right to say...

MSNBC host Krystal Ball suggested Tuesday that George Orwell’s famously anti-communist novel “Animal Farm” is an allegory for capitalism run amok, immediately setting the hair of literature professors across the country on fire. Ball spoke on MSNBC’s “The Cycle” about the recent release of French economist Thomas Piketty’s “Capital in the Twenty-First Century,” which argues capitalism is intrinsically unfair and advocates a global wealth tax to level the playing field. Ball noted that Piketty’s claims have been met with some criticism, which she felt was undeserved. “Piketty has predictably gotten the full Cold War treatment,” she claimed. “The National Review...

MSNBC does it again! MSNBC host Alex Wagner attempted to argue that the IRS was actually the victim of the recent investigation into the IRS targeting of conservative groups that were seeking 501(c)(4) status. “In my mind the IRS who is trying to get this out are the ones who have actually been targeted in this investigation.” Wagner stated during her program on Thursday night.

The Washington Post reported: Russia, news anchor Dmitry Kiselyov took to the Rossiya 1 news channel to put the situation into a broader geopolitical context for views. One part of his explanation, however, has caught a lot of attention: Kiselyov explained to his viewers that Russia is the only country capable of turning the United States into “radioactive ashes.” He then went on to use animated maps to show exactly how Russia would automatically respond with nuclear missiles if command and control were attacked or disabled by a U.S. attack. He also took a swipe at Obama.

**SNIP** HARRIS-PERRY: “I want to talk today about a controversial word. It’s a word that has been with us for years. And like it or not, it’s indelibly printed in the pages of American history. A word that was originally intended as a derogatory term, meant to shame and divide and demean. The word was conceived of by a group of wealthy white men who needed a way to put themselves above and apart from a black man, to render him inferior and unequal and diminish his accomplishments. “President Obama has been labelled with this word by his opponents, and...

A Colorado radio host is urging listeners to give up Girl Scout cookies due to what he referred to as the organization's promotion of "lesbianism." Kevin Swanson, a pastor and right-wing activist, said on his "Generations Radio" program, which originates in Elizabeth, Colo., that he doesn't condone purchasing Girl Scout cookies because the organization promotes homosexuality and supports abortion, MSNBC reported Tuesday. "Please, I beg of you, stop buying Girl Scout cookies," Swanson said on Monday's radio broadcast. "I'd say you ought to say no to the Girl Scout cookies," Swanson said. "I don't want to support lesbianism, I don't...

The Daily Caller feels compelled to present our first, and hopefully last, review of the new version of CNN’s vaunted ‘Crossfire.’ For Review #1, we will focus on the show’s Monday debut starring President Obama’s 2012 deputy campaign manager Stephanie Cutter, former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, and guests Sens. Rand Paul and Bob Menendez. To watch this latest incarnation of Crossfire is to confront, head-on, the defining unspoken reality of human existence: bad people like Stephanie Cutter can climb, in defiance of taste and public demand, to a position of success. A loathsome creature like Stephanie Cutter, the roots jutting...
