The presence of Department of Homeland Security (DHS) police officers on light-rail trains in the Twin Cities provoked unease among some passengers Wednesday. Several took to Twitter to express their dismay. But Metro Transit said the DHS officers are part of a Visible Intermodal Prevention and Response (VIPR) team working with its own police force to help ensure security on public trains and buses. The VIPR officers do not engage in any enforcement actions, and have worked with the department for “more than a decade,” said Metro Transit spokesman Howie Padilla.

LONDON — The UK government on Thursday rolled out a policy stating that refugees can be sent back to their homeland if conditions in their country suddenly improve. The guidelines, drawn up by the Home Office, also state that when refugees apply for settlement protection after their mandatory five-year probation period in the UK, their applications will be "subject to a safe return review." Prime Minister Theresa May outlined her ambition to make these changes in 2015 when she was home secretary. In her address at the Conservative Party conference that year, she said: "When a refugee’s temporary stay of...

In a shocking development, it has been revealed that the son of legendary boxer Muhammad Ali was detained for hours by immigration officials earlier this month at a Florida airport, and was repeatedly asked about his religion. Muhammad Ali Jr, 44, and his mother, Khalilah Camacho-Ali, the first wife of Muhammad Ali, were arriving at Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International Airport on February 7 after an event in Jamaica, when they were pulled aside while going through customs because of their 'Arabic-sounding names', reports the USA Today quoting Ali's family friend and lawyer Chris Mancini. Camacho-Ali was let go after she showed...

Before I even talk about DHS employees being locked out of the computer system…lets look back at a prior story on DHS. A government watchdog agency is investigating allegations that Department of Homeland Security officials improperly attempted to breach the Georgia secretary of state’s internal elections network last year. In a Jan. 17 letter to Georgia Secretary of State Brian Kemp, DHS Inspector General John Roth said his office was probing “a series of ten alleged scanning events of the Georgia Secretary of State’s network” that may have originated from DHS-affiliated IP addresses. DHS IG spokeswoman Erica Paulson confirmed the...

On Trial: Lawsuits Against Trump On ‘Muslim Immigration Ban’ Will Fail Fast by Robert Barnes | 10:09 am, January 28th, 2017 Council American-Islamic Relations announced an intention to sue President Donald Trump over his executive order banning most immigrants from Syria, and other countries that lack certain vetting standards and have issues with terrorism. Overnight, refugees who were in the air on the way to the United States are now being detained, and have also filed legal actions. The ban is perceived by some as a partial Muslim ban. Either way, at any trial, the law supports Trump’s order, and...

Migrants granted leave to remain in Switzerland on the basis that they risk death in their homelands are using welfare money to fund holidays back home, the Basler Zeitung reports. The Swiss newspaper notes that thousands of migrants each year are heading to Eritrea for their holidays each year despite their having supposedly fled the northeast African nation in fear of their lives. Although a large proportion of Eritreans in Switzerland have been refused asylum, authorities are powerless to deport them because their homelands are deemed to be too dangerous by the country’s refugee policy. While there are no direct...

‘Homeland,’ Season 6 Review: A Politically Correct Carrie Gone is the series’ original vitality, replaced with predictable politeness. By Dorothy Rabinowitz Jan. 12, 2017 6:00 p.m. ET 48 COMMENTS It’s a far from familiar Carrie, bipolar scourge of terrorists, who shows up in season 6 of “Homeland,’’ set in that destination strivers around the world dream of living in—namely, Brooklyn. She’s there having abandoned any further service to the CIA, because—she makes clear in the show’s opening episodes—she’s become increasingly dismayed by America’s policies in the Middle East. Not to mention at home, where she’s appalled to discover that the...

Citing increasingly sophisticated cyber bad actors and an election infrastructure that's "vital to our national interests," Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson is designating U.S. election systems critical infrastructure, a move that provides more federal help for state and local governments to keep their election systems safe from tampering. "Given the vital role elections play in this country, it is clear that certain systems and assets of election infrastructure meet the definition of critical infrastructure, in fact and in law," Johnson said in a statement Friday. He added: "Particularly in these times, this designation is simply the right and obvious thing...

NEWS 9/11 memorial stirs debate over 'Islamic terrorists' Two words on this 9/11 memorial are stirring a major debate (KTRK) Thursday, September 01, 2016 07:48AM OWEGO, NY (KTRK) -- Two words included on a memorial to victims of the 9-11 terror attacks are now stirring a major debate in New York. A group is taking issue with the words "Islamic terrorists" as they appear on the monument in Owego. The Islamic Organization of the Southern Tier worries the wording could encourage hatred towards Muslims living in the city, painting all Muslims with the same brush, they say. Donald Castellucci, town...

See Something, Say Nothing A Homeland Security Officer Exposes the Govt. Submission to Jihad One day after a prominent U.S. Muslim leader reacted to the November 2015 Paris attacks with a declaration that the Islamic State, also known as ISIS, has nothing to do with Islam, President Obama made the same assertion. Who exactly is the enemy we face, not only in the Middle East but also within our borders? Is it “murderers without a coherent creed” or “nihilistic killers who want to tear things down,” as some described ISIS after 130 people were brutally slain and another 368 injured...

Two Americans confirmed to be victims in Brussels attacks Posted 7:13 am, March 25, 2016, by CNN Wire This was the news the family of Alexander and Sascha Pinczowski hoped would never come. The siblings were in the Delta ticket line at the Brussels Airport to check in for their flight to New York. Alexander was talking to his mother on the phone when the line went dead. They haven’t been heard from since. Nearly three agonizing days later, word came from Belgian authorities at Astrid Hospital in Brussels. It was a list of the remaining victims who were still...

Obama’s Legacy – The Threat of More Terrorism Here Free Fire | March 8, 2016 | Counterintelligence, Counterterrorism, Defense Budget & Programs, Understanding the Shariah Threat Doctrine The President’s Homeland Security Advisor says international terrorist groups are “planning for sophisticated and coordinated terror attacks” in this country. In fact, Lisa Monaco warned that the threats are becoming ‘broader, more diffuse, and less predicable than at any time” since the 9/11 attacks. Call it Obama’s legacy. Unfortunately, as former clandestine CIA officer Clare Lopez and I point out in a new book, See No Sharia, our first lines of defense against...

Somali 'refugee' influx continues unabated Obama sending 700 per month to U.S. cities despite admitted 'terror-recruitment problem' The Islamic State’s Cyber Army used an online cellphone app to post a “kill list” of names, addresses, phone numbers and other personal information on 36 police officers in the Twin Cities area of Minnesota. The FBI said this week it is investigating the case but analysts say it’s obvious why ISIS chose to target the Minneapolis-St. Paul area. The area is home to America’s largest Somali refugee community and has been a hotbed of Islamic terrorist recruitment dating back to at least...

“Based on our current understanding of the virus, enhanced public health entry screening for Zika would not be effective because most people who are infected with Zika are asymptomatic and therefore could not be identified during the screening process,†said DHS in a statement. “Accordingly, CDC is not conducting, or recommending that CBP conduct, enhanced entry screening for Zika, such as active symptom monitoring and temperature checks at ports of entry for arriving travelers. CDC and CBP will continue to coordinate on appropriate measures.†Some health officials estimate that up to 80 percent of the people with Zika do not...

Obama Meeting With Islamic Leaders to Discuss "Hateful Talk" Against Muslims, Still Hasn't met With San Bernardino Families President Obama, in yet another attempt to pander to the Islamic community in hopes of dragging them into the Democratic Party, has agreed to meet with Islamic leaders to discuss "hateful talk" and discrimination against Muslims. What's truly disgusting about this is how the president hasn't personally met with victims' families from the San Bernardino attack, who are dead because a Muslim terrorist decided to go beyond "hateful talk" and end the lives of 14 innocent individuals. Apparently these folks don't matter...

This is a brief clip from the season premier of “Homeland” and it’s important, because, in the clip, a CIA operative “speaks truth to power.” In the video, the CIA operative explains that the Jihadists’ strategy is based on centuries-old Islamic doctrine to form a Caliphate. He also questions whether or not the US has any real strategy to combat the enemy threat doctrine. I must warn you, the clip is NOT safe for work as it contains harsh language. But if you are not offended by bad language, I urge you to take two minutes and view this. And...
