February 14, 2002 Waylon Jennings, a Star and Outlaw of Country Music, Is Dead at 64 Associated Press NASHVILLE, Feb. 13 (AP) — Waylon Jennings, a singer, songwriter and guitarist who defined the outlaw movement in country music, died today at his home in Chandler, Ariz.
