Tom Wolf, who withheld $12.8 million in federal money from Lebanon County because it violated his closure orders, said the county will receive the money — and use $2.8 million to promote the benefits of face maks. Health Department Secretary Dr. Rachel Levine started her daily coronavirus response briefing Tuesday with a response to the “multiple incidents of LGBTQ harassment, and specifically transphobia directed at me, that have been reported in the press.” A Tioga county tavern recently apologized for a menu item that mocked Levine, who is a transgender woman, while a Facebook post about a fundraiser at the Bloomsburg Fair featured a male wearing a woman’s dress and a wig. The post suggested that it was a Levine impersonation.
