I have a brick fireplace with a manufactured fireplace box complete with functioning flue. I also have gas logs, etc. The literature on the logs says they are "ventless." However, the fireplace box isn't designed for ventless logs. According to a fireman who examined it, he said closing the flue during operation would generate more heat than the box can handle. Now, before he examined it, I had run the fireplace with the flue closed and it generated decent heat. But now with the flue open, it's almost useless. They use Quicktime Video for instruction (some of the course is online) and for some reason the Quicktime video is now just playing the audio. PLEASE HELP: I recently suffered a BSOD event on my other computer, which happens to be the one my children use for schoolwork, reports and the like - I had to re-install Windows XP, which solved the problem, but now nothing wants to work (internet, screen laggy and can't access old files). I can see a lot of what I had on the computer before this problem, but cannot access it and cannot connect to the internet at all now... I have decided at the last minute that I want to try to get to DC for the Tea Party on September 12th. My son works for one of the airlines, so I can fly standby to just about anywhere I want to go.
