Before anyone asks I have AVG, Spybot, Ad-Aware, SpySweeper (paid for) and TrojanHunter. SpySweeper runs nightly as does AVG. I run Spybot every couple of weeks as back-up for SpySweeper. I'm trying to fix my dads computer and I have run out of ideas. The problem is that he cannot access secure websites. He is using Juno dial-up access on Windows 2000 Pro. The browser displays the "Page cannot be displayed" error. The problem seems to have started when he ran Ad-Aware to remove a bunch of spyware that he had aquired.

If I decide to search for threads with a particular word in the title, and choose "by post time" and "quick", I get articles going back abnout two weeks. But even if I choose "archive search" it only lists the same articles. I can only get listings of articles going back about two weeks at most. Am I doing something wrong?
