  • Kamala Harris: “We have to have” a “Mandatory Gun Buyback Program”

    08/13/2020 3:21:34 PM PDT · by AggregateThreat · 120 replies
Move over Hillary Clinton, you’re not radical enough for the foaming-at-the-mouth Leftists who currently have the Democratic Party in their grip. Not even Hillary advocated for outright gun confiscation. Biden has voiced support for stronger gun-control measures than Hillary – including a ban on any gun that doesn’t have ‘smart’ features. But the NWO shill has never called for an end of our Second Amendment. He once told Anderson Cooper that there is “no legal way” to take guns away from U.S. citizens.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Friday signed a law that will make the state the first to allow employers, co-workers and teachers to seek gun violence restraining orders against other people. The bill was vetoed twice by former governor Jerry Brown, a Democrat, and goes beyond a measure that he signed allowing only law enforcement officers and immediate family members to ask judges to temporarily take away peoples’ guns when they are deemed a danger to themselves or others. They were among 15 gun-related laws Newsom approved as the state strengthens what the Brady Campaign to Prevent Gun Violence calls...

The California Assembly on Monday advanced a bill to add school faculty, employers and co-workers to the list of people who can ask a judge to take away someone’s guns. The measure, AB 61, passed the Assembly in a Democrat-heavy 54-16 vote and now heads to the state Senate. It would greatly expand who can file for a Gun Violence Restraining Order in the state under California’s so-called “red flag law.” Adopted in 2014, the current law allows the seizure of firearms– for up to 21 days– from an otherwise legal gun owner who is believed to pose a “significant...

I had a disturbing conversation with a therapist about reporting/seizing patient’s guns. It revolved around the recent FR article reporting a 72 year old man had his musket collection seized because his therapist requested it. (A link would be appreciated.) We’ll call the therapist Bill. Bill: “A therapist must follow the ethical guidelines of the practice plus any state laws. So, if the patient had expressed any suicidal ideation or depression, the therapist may be obligated to report this and the weapons will be seized.” Me: “Do you think that might damage the trust relationship with the therapist?” Bill shrugged...

HARTFORD -- Using a unique state law, police in Connecticut have disarmed dozens of gun owners based on suspicions that they might harm themselves or others. The state's gun seizure law is considered the first and only law in the country that allows the confiscation of a gun before the owner commits an act of violence. Police and state prosecutors can obtain seizure warrants based on concerns about someone's intentions. State police and 53 police departments have seized more than 1,700 guns since the law took effect in October 1999, according to a new report to the legislature. There are...

7-29-04                          TYRANNY UPDATE!  Oshkosh police say 'Sorry' for trampling citizens' rights in door-to-door gun confiscations.     Oshkosh, Wis. -- In what appears to be an admission of wrong-doing by the Oshkosh Police Department, Fox 11 WLUK (Green Bay) has reported that area resident Terry Wesner was offered an apology by the department.     Police evacuated citizens from their homes within a quarantined area near Smith Elementary School Saturday night (July 17, 2004) to conduct a broad gun sweep of the neighborhood following the shooting of Oshkosh police officer Nate Gallagher.    Residents reported returning home from area shelters -- where...
