Firearm owners should avoid travel to Massachusetts and consider moving if they already live there, according to a gun rights organization concerned about a gun control bill making its way through the state legislature. "If Massachusetts makes House Docket 4420 law, Massachusetts will become the most anti-gun state in the country," Austin Hein, the director of political operations for the National Association for Gun Rights, told Fox News. "What Massachusetts is clearly trying to do here is basically repeal the Second Amendment as we know it," he added. The 140-page omnibus bill, An Act of Modernizing Firearm Laws, makes sweeping...

For years, gun-grabbing politicians in Massachusetts have been chipping away at the Second Amendment, imposing some of the harshest gun-control in the country. Now, it appears they want to do away with your Constitutional rights altogether. This week, Massachusetts politicians put forth HD 4420, “an act modernizing firearm laws.” This massive piece of legislation re-writes gun laws in the Commonwealth and imposes unprecedented gun-control. Every NRA member and gun rights supporter in Massachusetts is urged to contact lawmakers now and tell them to oppose HD 4420. HD 4420 leaves no stone unturned when it comes to restricting your Second Amendment...

Staying solidly in character, on July 4, 2023, Joe Biden issued another call for the kind of gun control that King George III favored in his long-ago effort to squash American independence. Jackboot Joe didn’t waste the opportunity of news reports of multiple shootings across the country this holiday weekend to reiterate his support for removing weapons from all the people who don’t commit crimes — and customarily failing to even attempt to explain why such an action would positively affect the people who do. Citing recent shootouts in Philadelphia, Baltimore, Chicago and other such Democrat-led hellholes, Biden demanded support...

Robert F. Kennedy Jr. used a townhall in New Hampshire to explain he is not going to take guns and the approach of trying to do so would not stop school shootings. National Gun Rights Association’s Will Fite tweeted about the townhall on Saturday after RFK Jr. stressed that he is not going to take away guns. Moreover, he pointed to the Supreme Court of the United States Bruen (2022) decision and noted it is not possible to “do anything” to secure gun control, even if someone wanted more of it. RFK Jr. focused on school shootings and rejected claims...

Tulsa Police Chief Wendell Franklin is calling for a 9/11 style response to gun violence and suggesting people may have to give up some of their freedom in exchange for gun control. NPR posted an interview with Franklin on Sunday, noting he is critical of constitutional carry, wants more regulations on firearms that Democrats describe as “ghost guns,” and is open to a waiting period for the purchase of AR-15s and similar firearms. Franklin said, “Law enforcement – we are the experts. We’re the subject matter experts at protecting America – right? – protecting our cities. And, you know, we...

Killer Mike believes any new gun control laws in America will hurt Black people before any other group -- but the rapper's telling us a few other ways he thinks the spike in gun violence can be flattened. Mike joined us Wednesday on "TMZ Live" to discuss potential curfews for minors in Atlanta -- something he's all for as a measure to mitigate violence ... and, he says he had curfew when he was growing up in the area. However, he remains firmly against the passage of new legislation as a means to reduce gun-related crime. Mike says he's a...

Eleven of 15 judges concurred with the majority opinion. Four judges dissented. One of those was Judge Janet...

California Gov. Gavin Newsom on Thursday proposed a 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution in what he describes as an effort to end America’s gun violence crisis. “The gun lobby says we can’t stop the carnage America now experiences every day without violating the 2nd Amendment – that thoughts and prayers are the best we can do… that’s a lie,” Newsom said in a statement.

California Gov. Gavin Newsom (D) called Thursday for a constitutional amendment to impose gun control on the country, claiming that his proposal “leaves the 2nd Amendment intact.” NEW: I’m proposing the 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution to help end our nation’s gun violence crisis. The American people are sick of Congress’ inaction. Sometimes a story comes across the wire that’s so unbelievable, that I have to double-check the link to make sure it’s not a parody site. That happened on Thursday morning when a new report dropped detailing how Hunter Biden will defend himself against a possible gun charge brought by the DOJ. Hunter Biden is facing multiple charges related to alleged tax fraud and lying on a gun purchase form. A charging decision is expected to occur soon, though, the DOJ has continued to slow-walk the final decision for reasons that some suspect are political. The president’s troubled son swore under...

ASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Tennessee Gov. Bill Lee's administration accused the National Rifle Association of wanting to use involuntary commitment laws “to round up mentally ill people and deprive them of other liberties,” according to documents drafted by the Republican's staffers as part of their initial attempt to pass a gun control proposal earlier this year. The memos, provided by Lee's office as part of a public records request, reveal a rare criticism of the powerful gun lobby made by the Republican governor. Lee has previously praised the NRA's efforts to protect the Second Amendment but has since faced opposition...

From today's unanimous Georgia Supreme Court decision in Knox v. State, written by Justice Ellington: Five University System of Georgia ("USG") professors filed suit to block a 2017 statutory amendment that removed public colleges and other public postsecondary educational institutions from the statutory definition of "school safety zone." Before the 2017 amendment, carrying or possessing a weapon on any real property or in any building owned by or leased to any postsecondary educational institution was a misdemeanor, and the 2017 amendment decriminalized that conduct. The professors alleged that, as a result of the 2017 amendment, the Code requires the Board...
