Russia said Sunday it scrambled fighter jets to intercept two U.S. military long-range bomber aircraft that approached the Russian border over the Barents Sea in the Arctic.
“The crews of the Russian fighters identified the aerial target as a pair of U.S. Air Force B-52H strategic bombers,” Moscow’s defense ministry wrote on the social media platform Telegram, specifying that the planes scrambled were MiG-29 and MiG-31 fighters.
“As the Russian fighters approached, the U.S. strategic bombers turned away from the State Border of the Russian Federation,” the ministry said.

Knowing Jao Bai-din, those two planes were just going to drop bales of U.S. taxpayer money on globalist partners.
So what? They send planes toward us to see how close they can get before we scramble. We do the same thing.

And the B-52’s are trucks delivering cruise missiles to deployment points. They would never penetrate Russian air space. It is interesting that the Russians saw them coming. The Ukes disabled a couple of Russian long range radars that were completely useless for the war in Ukraine, but gave the Russians long range surveillance to the south, in the direction of Diego Garcia. They used Ukrainian made cruise missiles, but I wonder if that was at the request of the Pentagon.

This is equivalent to two Russian nuclear bombers flying down the Northeast coast headed towards Washington. You don’t think that would be considered a real threat?

It’s not Puppet Biden ordering these bombers into Russian airspace. It’s “the black man”, Shaddam IV, the 81st Padishah Emperor of House Corrino (otherwise known as Lloyd Austin), hoping to provoke the Russians into shooting down American military aircraft.

While in the Alaskan Air Command, I spent some time at Galena Air Station in central Alaska and it was the home of a combat alert cell, or a CAC, in the mid 1980’s when I was there. It was one of a number of sites covering the Bering Sea air space like King Salmon, Clear, and Shymia based out of Elmendorf AFB. Galena was a small town, still there, along the Yukon and it has an airport that the CAC used. Anytime an aircraft approached or crossed “that line” as per the radar at Galena, or elsewhere, F-16’s, fully armed, would take over the airport for launch and go to intercept.
The sites are no longer there but radar is still on and most of it comes from the western airospace division (WADS) at what is now at Joint Base Lewis McChord (JBLM) in south Tacoma, Washington. So it still goes on, just a little more economic. And other means of patrol are used, also. It was part of a blanket of control that other military forces were part of. For Alaska, one was Adak, navy. Galena Air STation was originally activated in 1951.

Yes we do. This has been going on for decades.
I doubt it was effective and may lead to Russia concluding that wider war is inevitable. They are already seeming to lean is this direction with the EU looking to build an army.
Are they complaining or just saying it happened? We always announce these things too.
Nothing to see here except nobody has any trust at all in this atmosphere of a possible WWIII. Which is dangerous.
Countries need some communication which we are not getting much of anymore.
