Tennessee Sen. Marsha Blackburn slammed Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle for prioritizing a cocktail party over an investigation into the attempted assassination of former President Trump.
Cheatle ducked a fuming group of senators who wanted to discuss security lapses that nearly cost Trump his life, but Blackburn and several other lawmakers confronted the embattled security boss Wednesday at the Republican National Convention in Milwaukee.
"For her to say her priority was to make certain that people had a nice evening, that people had a nice party, that they were able to enjoy that luxury suite, and she did not have time for us. Does she not see the American people as a partner and the work of the Secret Service?"

Blackburn is way over her head.
She has no idea what she is dealing with here.

incompetent managers manage only what they know about, which is usually completely unrelated to what they ought to be managing ...
there was a manager in my department that was supposed to manage workers who were supposed to be writing technical documentation and providing telephone support for product users, but her technology background and knowledge were nil, so she spent all of her time arranging, luncheons, birthday parties and parties at conferences ... sounds quite a bit like Cheatle ...
*Blackburn is way over her head.*
Corker was better?
“Blackburn is way over her head.
She has no idea what she is dealing with here.”
Oh, I think she knows full well what she’s dealing with. It’s just that some (a scant few) GOPers actually have a spine and a set of nads to speak the truth. Still waiting for the collective cowards to rise up and speak out about this latest assassination attempt. I suppose I’ll have a long wait....
I saw two different managers—unknown to each other—who ignored their actual jobs because they were investing and managing real estate on the side.
They were on their cell phones all day long—they sure looked busy.
Lol.

Hearing 10% Truth / 90 % Misdirection
“Our Democracy” demands nice cocktail parties for the people in the Club. You ain’t in the Club.
Been 8 days...no major agency press briefings....interesting
Or if any of the two families shorted “Truth Social”
“Blackburn is way over her head.”
So Senate Barbie is upset that a Biden sabotaged Trump so that he would be murdered?
Well, does she NOT remember that she voted to certify the stolen election? I blame her for Jill and Joe being in power, partially.
She needs to pipe down with her criticisms; she hasn’t earned the right.
Yeppers
i had one manager who sealed himself in his office and spent all his time running differential equation models he built to monitor his retirement funds ...
we eventually had to nuke him via near Machiavellian means to prevent our entire organization from being disconnected from the Internet because he refused to open his door to sign the necessary RFP bid papers for a new ISP vendor ... [longer version of the story is that i was the leader of the revolt, but the manager thought another guy was the leader, a guy who actually died soon afterwards ... occasionally i’d run into the demoted manager who had quit, and he’d bitterly complain to me about the dead guy who had nuked him ... it was hard for me to keep a straight face] ...
ah, the joys of working for a nonprofit GOCO ... [retired now, thank the lord]
She was one of four senators who confronted Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle.
“Our” Republic geez
The way we got rid of the real estate gurus is we had their bosses “borrow” the cell phones for a few seconds when the RE guys were in the bathroom.
Needless to say their bosses went totally ballistic—and started monitoring the RE guys every minute.
In both cases it only took a day or two before they were fired.
In both cases they did fine—they sold their real estate holdings and moved out of state.
Win win.
Secret Service protects Biden secrets 24/7——read on.
The US Secret Service has dubiously claimed to The NY Post that it has “no records” of visitors to Biden’s two Delaware residences and therefore cannot divulge that information in response to a FOIA request. Biden was at his residences in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach on about one-quarter of all days during his first year in office, but little is known about who stopped by for official meetings or less formal lobbying efforts — such as by members of his family and their associates.
Biden was at his residences in Wilmington and Rehoboth Beach on about one-quarter of all days during his first year in office, but little is known about who stopped by for official meetings or less formal lobbying efforts — such as by members of his family and their associates.
The Post sought more than one year of visitor log records, including for Biden’s first year in office, but Secret Service Freedom of Information Act officer Kevin Tyrrell wrote in a response dated Monday that “[t]he Secret Service FOIA Office searched all Program Offices that were likely to contain potentially responsive records, and no records were located.”
