Kansas City police are investigating an after-school assault during which a teenager was burned when one of his assailants ignited a can of gasoline. The 13-year-old victim told police that two older teens followed him from East High School on Tuesday afternoon to his house in the 2200 block of Quincy Avenue. As he was attempting to unlock the front door, one of the assailants grabbed him in a bear hug, he told police.
