Hi I am on the road a lot today its summer and much of the post today "canned" ahead of time. I always had this vision in my head back 20 or more years ago of Rush Limbaugh playing oldies on the radio every weekend an extra show to help promote the weekday shows and soften the image that was being dumped on El Rushbo by his enemies. Well lets go to the music Janis Joplin lost too early to drugs I remember when she died it was on the news and she looked weird to me back then... Still...

VIDEOChristopher Wray's testimony before Congress on July 12, 2023 went so horribly wrong that the FBI PR department desperately posted several damage control tweets in a laughably failed effort to counter what happened. Unfortunately the ratio on those tweets just made things even worse as you can see. In this example, I take a look at the ratio on the FBI's damage control tweet about investigating parents who spoke out at school board meetings.

On this date, July 13, in 2010, George Steinbrenner died, and, much earlier, in 1865, publisher and Whig politician, Horace Greeley, is said to have advised his readers: “Washington [D.C.] is not a place to live in. The rents are high, the food is bad, the dust is disgusting and the morals are deplorable. Go West, young man, go West and grow up with the country.” (Has anything changed?) Steinbrenner was born in Ohio and died in Florida, but is most famous for owning the New York Yankees for 37 colorful years. His brash leadership is said to have been...

Gee! Isn't that a shame?Despite the fact that the White House is probably the most intensely video-surveilled building on the planet, an official with the investigation wants us to believe that the public shouldn't expect the discovery of the culprit who left cocaine there just this past weekend. At least that is what the utterly skepticism-free Politico reporter Daniel Lippman is relaying to his readers on Wednesday in "White House cocaine culprit unlikely to be found: Law enforcement official."

July 4th, America's Independence Day, is also film and television star Eva Gabor's birthday and the date of the first publication of Leaves Of Grass in 1855. That seminal work was a part of the cultural birth of the USA: ""What is known I strip away, I launch all men and women forward with me into the Unknown. .............. Births have brought us richness and variety, And other births will bring us richness and variety." " ....... after the child is born of woman, man is born of woman, This the bath of birth, this the merge of small and...

VIDEOMy wife loves the images of fat rich piggies on slot machines so, naturally, on July 3 she played the machines with that porcine image. Our strategy, as always, was to put $20 into the slots and to cash out whenever the winnings go over about $30. That way the most we can lose for the evening would be limited to the initial $20 in the machine. After cashing out we place another $20 in the machine and if we lose that then we are done for the day. However, if we win again we repeat the process of cashing...

Okay, we are coming up to July 4, a big day for picnics, especially on the BBQ. So what food are you preparing for July 4?I'll start off by stating that I am preparing a big TRIFECTA of food. Smoked turkey, chili cheese fries, and, most importantly, PICANHA steak. The smoked turkey is now being dry brined with kosher salt, brown sugar, pepper, and thyme. Tomorrow I will smoke it on my Weber for a total of about 2 1/2 hours. So why smoke it the day BEFORE July 4? Well, because I need the Weber for something else that day...

VIDEOIs YouTube telling creators who filed video appeals to have their channels remonetized that they have "carefully reviewed" their appeal videos when in fact NO ONE actually looked at them? In my case, I have evidence that they DID NOT look at my video appeal. Not surprising since I sent the appeal video to them yesterday (June 26) AFTERNOON and by 2:08 AM PDT on June 27 they somehow managed to not only "see" my video but also reviewed and passed judgement upon it. "See" in quotes because they did NOT see the video. As a fringe benefit for seeing the...

VIDEOThe FBI is offering a $500,000 reward to identify the J6 pipe bomber and the DUmmie FUnnies wants to collect that reward money. Perhaps the reward money will be used to invest in cell phone technology that can't can't be conveniently "corrupted" while performing an investigation via Geofencing. Would also use that reward money to purchase a kitchen timer that lasts more than an hour.

On Monday the latest motion of censure against the government of President Emmanuel Macron failed in the National Assembly. 239 of the 577 members supporting it members from the Left and the National Rally along with the deputies from France's overseas territories. The government-aligned parties do not have a majority in the Assembly either but with the support of the Mainstream "Right" Les Republicains they found a majority to turn back the censure motion. LR leader Eric Ciotti has been making noise on immigration and was given an audience this week with President Macron... More fuel poured on the fire...

On Friday, MSNBC acted "concerned" over the news that Aileen Cannon was chosen as the judge to oversee the Trump documents case. However, the MSNBC reaction was mild compared to the sheer panic over Cannon in an article published by Slate magazine that same day. Mark Joseph Stern, Slate's senior writer on legal matters sounds like he will spend many sleepless nights over his extreme fear that "Judge Aileen Cannon Can Absolutely Sink the Federal Prosecution of Trump."

VIDEOSince today is the 79th Anniversary of the D-Day landing on June 6, 1944 I thought it would be a good time to compare the amazingly similar voices of Dwight D. Eisenhower and Clark Gable. In this video you can hear Eisenhower's D-Day message to the allied troops as compared to Clark Gable's recruitment speech for the Army Air Force. I also mixed up the segments of each so you can hear them speak closer together in order to better compare the similarity of their voices.

On June 2nd, 1989, 100,000 people went to Tienanmen Square. One reason for the crowd was a statue called the Goddess Of Democracy. Its pose was modeled on the Statue Of Liberty but its face was Chinese. Democracy can be a babe. Do we understand her? Walt Whitman was elegant in writing of democracy and religion: “Even in religious fervor there is a touch of animal heat. But moral conscientiousness, crystalline, without flaw, not Godlike only, entirely human, awes and enchants forever. Great is emotional love, even in the order of the rational universe.” “In the faces of men and...

Special Counsel John H. Durham's "Report on Matters Related to Intelligence Activities and Investigations Arising Out of the 2016 Presidential Campaigns" continues the practice of allowing government officials to escape accountability for their abuse of American citizens. In June 2017, the United States Department of Justice applied to the Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act Court for the third renewal of a surveillance and search warrant on part-time Donald Trump campaign adviser Carter Page. The DoJ's application was based in part on the credibility of former British intelligence agent Christopher Steele. Steele produced a so-called "dossier," which was a 35-page collection of...
