Ah. These are exciting times that we live in. This article discusses a very uncomfortable point in time. That is when local, state and federal government is no longer in substantive control. It’s a transitional period. It is when one government style fails, and another one takes it’s place. Historically, it is a given development that eventually happens to all nations. All of them. Including the (virginal) United States. We, as Americans, have never been in this situation. Because, we and our parents have never experienced it, we think that it will never ever happen to us. As such we...

I guess I'm here... I came to understand why and how you guys think the way you do. I'm extremely liberal and have a burning hatred for a good amount of the right, however I still want to contribute. I dislike being divided, I dislike any phobias that I know many of you have, and after reading some of the opinions on here I can honestly say that I see no good that can come from this website. The garbage spewed on here makes me want to puke. The clear disregard for political correctness and the way others may feel...

McClatchy reported on Thursday that unidentified sources (“people with knowledge of the matter”) say there is evidence placing Michael Cohen’s cell phone in or near Prague in “late summer” 2016. The story must be scrutinized because it has some significant holes. ... This must be read carefully and not overinterpreted. Advocates for the Steele dossier assuredly want it to be overinterpreted. But what is actually being said here doesn’t tell us anything definitive. First, to cut to the chase, the case I made in April 2018 applies here. This information cannot be from the source you immediately imagine — i.e.,...

The media has been in a frenzy since President Trump paid a surprise visit to troops in an Iraqi combat zone, outraged that some soldier had sought autographs from their commander in chief. They said little when both Barack and Michelle Obama made similar gestures to the troops. Newsweek went so far as to seek out an Obama appointed former White House ethics chief to call the President’s actions in signing such as items as MAGA hats, “truly disgusting.” “Trump’s engaging in campaign activity during this trip is on Trump and Trump alone,” Walter Shaub raged. “Disgusting. Truly disgusting. Shame!”...
