<p>August 25, 2003 -- A contestant on the gay- dating show, "Boy Meets Boy," was discharged from the Navy for violating the "Don't Ask, Don't Tell" policy after he appeared on the series.</p>
<p>"I was fully aware of what would happen," Michael Jason Tiner, a Navy combat instructor, told a reporter.</p>
