ALEXANDRIA, Va. -- The father of the gunman from the May 2006 shooting at the Sully District Police Station in Centreville pleaded guilty Tuesday to two gun charges. Brian Harold Kennedy, 50, pleaded guilty to making a false statement to a licensed firearms dealer in connection with the purchase of an AK-47 assault rifle and to the unlawful possession of firearms and ammunition by a user of marijuana, authorities said.
