My 30 yr old nephew, my late brothers son, passed away yesterday after a very brief episode of respiratory distress. His wife explained that about 3 days ago he came down with a mild cough and began feeling poorly. He got tested and was negative for COVID-19. He had been vaccinated in February, 2021. Yesterday morning, he awoke and his wife says he felt okay so she left him in bed and went out, for whatever reason. She returned at noon to find him unresponsive. She called 911 and the paramedics were unable to revive him. They did mention that...

I ask that you please bear with me as get something off my chest. I have been somewhat calm, yet quietly angry inside for the last 5 years. However, something happened today that is finally making my frustration meter reach the ballistic stage. Before I start going Rambo on some bureaucrats, I need to get this all off my chest. This will be long, but what I am sharing with you is what my life has been like in the last 5 years.I turn 65 on September 17, next Month. Now I have been collecting my SS check for...

Well happy birthday to me. I have a Ministry to the homeless in downtown Greenville South Carolina and for the last 3 days I've been with a man who has recently released from jail and I've been encouraging him to stay sober presenting him the gospel, and I bought him a meal and gave him a bunch of Gatorade and things to drink. Today while talking to him he told me that he is covid positive. I asked him right now? And he said yes.

I would be interested to hear the experiences of others. Living here in Florida, it's gotten ridiculous, the hysteria being broadcast by the media is worse than last year at the height of the lockdowns, it's a full court press to scare the crap out of everyone, it's like a Cat 5 Hurricane is bearing down on the entire state with a impending apocalypse about to happen... The Wife and I made a decision to not get vaccinated, we are retired, we are not near people in crowded places, we take care of ourselves, we exercise, take vitamins, and zinc...I...

Once a month Google tells me of all the places I've been in the last 30 days. OK, we all know that our smartphones track us and they know what cities and places we go to. And we know there are (probably) ways to disable this tracking. But most of us don't really care. And even if we did, there are many other ways Google, Alexa, our cars, our government, etc. track us and follow our every movement. This is just everyday life in the 21st century. So anyway, Google's My Timeline has an in-depth review of nearly every place...

A “slimy” and “creepy” high-ranking FBI agent groped three of his female subordinates, made inappropriate sexual comments in the workplace and regularly drank on the job, according to documents obtained by The Post. The unidentified G-man, who worked as a supervisory assistant special agent in charge, was investigated by the Department of Justice Inspector General’s Office, which substantiated three allegations of unwanted sexual touching and the illegal boozing, according to the documents, which were obtained through a Freedom of Information Act request. Details about when and where the conduct took place were redacted, but the records show the allegations were...

Open request for prayers regarding an OLD TIME Freeper: Appalachian_Dweller has just this day been diagnosed with Lung Cancer. He has no health insurance and he’s a 55 year old former smoker. He is one of my closest friends and has had a mighty influence on this site, even though neither one of us has been here recently. When I first met him, here, back in the late 1990’s, we began a friendship that eventually led to a meeting and then an extended stay as our guest in our home in Miami, Florida along with his wonderful pup, Clyde (since...

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis announced Monday that he would be taking executive action against the “vaccine passports” being developed by the Biden regime and private corporations to deny Americans the right to commerce if they cannot provide proof of receiving a COVID vaccination shot on the spot. “You want the fox to guard the hen house? I mean, give me a break,” DeSantis said. “I think this is something that has huge privacy implications, it is not necessary to do.” DeSantis said that while it’s “important” for vulnerable populations to be able to take the vaccine, “we are not going...

Wow, have I missed Free Republic! I've already punted Twitter... twice! Gab is shaping up, but sweet mercy! the crazies are going to tank it. I strolled over here on a whim and find myself in a comfortable space. Clear, clean, easy-going, drama-free. Home. Sorry it took me so long to realize it. -Joan of Argghh!

I think people here know that I’m a doctor. I just completed the second shot of the two dose Pfizer vaccine. I felt virtually nothing after the first shot and nothing after the second shot given about 15 hours ago. The injection consists of only 0.3 ml. Contrast that with the flu vaccine that is 0.5 ml. The first shot helps your body recognize the virus, and the second revs up your immune system. As you know, 99% of those infected with the virus recover fully. On the other hand there is a small percentage that recover but not fully....

There is much being said on Free Republic and in the halls of hell that just is not true in regards to what took place yesterday in Washington D.C. I will start from the moment I arrived at the Ellipse area at 7:00am.

Pleased to report I have been appointed by President Donald Trump to a 4-year appointment to the Board of Directors for the National Board for Educational Sciences. This is a non-revocable appointment. I am now an embed in the unfortunate case Trump cannot overturn the fraud.

I was wondering if there was a place where one can find the freepers who wrote books and what they are. Also would be nice to have a writer's section to discuss ideas and help publish and spread each others' works. This could be expanded to other work of arts such as drawing, music or video creations or reports.

Hello again. More complaints about my health! Since July 14 I've been having unrelenting agonizing issues. Specifically since Aug 1 I've continuously had severe burning, leaden feeling in my arms and shoulders. I'm starting to feel more in my legs too. It seems to tie in with a feeling of sickness, too. I get more and more numbness/tingling in my hands and sometimes feet. Yes, I've been to lots of doctors/ER. I have lots of "history" as well, which may or may not tie into this Summer 2020 suffering.

I've just been notified by his wife that Thom Stickel (A little elbow grease) passed away yesterday. Thom was a proud alumni of the University of Pittsburgh, where he played baseball on scholarship. Our mutual love of baseball shaped our friendship and our similar ages allowed for great memories dating back to the late 50s and 60s. He never let me forget about the greatest homerun ever hit by Bill Mazeroski against the Yankees in 1960 :) I'll miss Thom and our offline exchanges badly and I know many others will miss him too. God bless you Thom, your presence...
