U.S. Rep. Alan Grayson has been subpoenaed to testify on Oct. 21 in a civil case that claimed he paid roughly $40,000 to a consulting company created by a tea party activist. The case stemmed from defamation lawsuit filed by tea party activist and longtime conservative campaign consultant Doug Guetzloe against three people who claimed that Guetzloe and his Tea Party of Florida group “hijacked” the name of the national tea party movement.
