DEL RIO, TX — Saturday, the citizens in the City of Del Rio elected a new mayor. He’s a young, vibrant U.S. Air Force veteran. He graduated from Del Rio High School in 2001. But before Election Day on May 5, photos of Bruno “Ralphy” Lozano appeared on the Facebook page called the Del Rio Trading Post. The photos showed him prancing down the street in tight red underwear, a tutu, and high heels. The photos were republished in the Zocalo, the newspaper for sister Ciudad (or city) Acuña across the Texas-Mexico border from Del Rio.

LONDON — John Travolta was onto something. Women are most attracted to male dancers who have big, flamboyant moves similar to the actor's trademark style, British scientists say in a new study. Kris McCarty and colleagues at Northumbria University and the University of Gottingen in Germany asked 19 men aged 18 to 35 who were not professional dancers to dance in a laboratory for one minute to a basic drum rhythm. SACRAMENTO, Calif. (AP) — Prince Frederic von Anhalt, a flamboyant socialite and eighth husband of Zsa Zsa Gabor, has officially entered the California governor's race. Von Anhalt's political platform includes legalizing marijuana and prostitution, lifting the import ban on Cuban cigars then taxing them all. The 65-year-old flew to Sacramento Wednesday from his Los Angeles home to file his candidate papers. Von Anhalt says he was motivated to run by watching the mistakes of Gov.
