On October 22, 2020, then-candidate Joe Biden vowed to "shut down the virus, not the country."14 months later, now-President Biden just admitted that there's no 'federal solution' to the pandemic, and that it's up to individual states to do what he promised."Look, there is no federal solution," he said during a call with state governors. "This gets solved at state level … and that ultimately gets down to where the rubber meets the road, and that’s where the patient is in need of help — or preventing the need for help.""My message to the governors is simple: if you need...

An MSNBC political contributor said Tuesday that the Biden administration should send the government to Republican states for a "federal takeover" of elections, arguing that such a drastic measure is supposed to be taken if it is determined a state is "violating people’s civil liberties." "This is an emergency," exclaimed Dr. Jason Johnson while discussing a lawsuit brought against Texas by the Department of Justice over the state's redistricting maps. Johnson was responding to "Black Votes Matter" co-founder Latosha Brown, who claimed without evidence that Republican states are passing legislation to gain the authority to "step in" and "throw out"...

The federal Election Assistance Commission has still not accounted for $74 million worth of election aid given to states in 2020 amid the coronavirus pandemic — and congressional Republicans suspect widespread abuse. “The EAC is supposed to be a watchdog,” Rep. James Comer (R-Ky.) told Fox News. “But it turns out it has been a bad actor, spending large sums of money with little transparency.”

The Community Gyms Coalition and the Global Health and Fitness Association sent a letter to congressional leaders Thursday urging them to provide pandemic relief to fitness facilities before the end of the year. The groups said that the emergence of the omicron variant — which experts believe might be more infectious than previous COVID-19 strains — could cause more damage to the fitness industry, which has seen 25 to 30 percent of gyms close permanently since the start of the pandemic. “The appearance of another COVID variant, coupled with discussions around reinstituting mask mandates and further restrictions to address the...

I would like to a prayer request to those threatened by the vaccine mandates. May they find a way to avoid them. If they are forced out of a job, may they find a new one quickly. In the long term, may these illegal mandates be overturned. For those who are forced to take them, may they be safe from harm. On a personal note, I was able to get my exemption. But, I have been suffering alot of anxiety since the announcement and I can't turn off the anxiety (PTSD). Please say a prayer for me too. Thank you...

James Madison University posting a video on Instagram that "two beautiful black lives" were lost in the Rittenhouse shooting, shows what the mentality is. If you're leftist, you're spiritually "Black", a la Bubba Clinton as the 1st Black President. But what if you're a conservative black, like Winsome Sears? You're not really black, if you've strayed off the Democrat plantation.

Gaston’s comments to Breitbart followed a speech at a “Stop White Supremacy!” rally in Chicago on Saturday. Mixed messages from the higher-ups, unclear repercussions for refusal, a disparity in treatment among different states and branches of the military, a range of deadlines, and goalpost-shifting on the meaning of religious exemptions have converged to create mass chaos throughout the military as tens of thousands of yet-unvaccinated service members grapple with the COVID-19 vaccine mandate and many seek exemptions. The Pentagon has promised that these requests for accommodation, which are mostly religious but include some medical, will be considered on a “case-by-case” basis, but that assurance provides no clarity about the military’s subjective process for assessing the sincerity of religious...

When your comes here are some suggestions to use as arguments, I believe they are all valid. 1. There are two Executive Orders addressing COVID vaccine mandates. Executive Order 14042, Ensuring Adequate COVID Safety Protocols for Federal Contractors Section 1: Policy. This order promotes economy and efficiency in Federal procurement by ensuring that the parties that contract with the Federal Government provide adequate COVID–19 safeguards to their workers performing on or in connection with a Federal Government contract or contract like instrument as described in section 5(a) of this order. These safeguards will decrease the spread of COVID–19, which will...

What does it take to hold federal police accountable for using excessive force? That question is once again being raised with cases being appealed to the U.S. Supreme Court. And it’s coming to the Justices in the form of a petition from Kevin Byrd, a Texas mechanic who was almost shot to death by a federal officer in a dispute over a purely personal matter. Kevin is not fighting alone. The Institute for Justice (IJ) represents him in his U.S. Supreme Court appeal. And three groups of exceptional scholars and cross-philosophical public policy organizations are supporting him with friend-of-the-court briefs...

An official federal government tally missed nearly 16,000 COVID-19 nursing home deaths that occurred during the early months of the pandemic, according to new research published Thursday. Those missing numbers account for 14 percent of all nursing home deaths in 2020, the study found. Across the 20 states with available data, the study, led by Harvard researcher Karen Shen and published in the JAMA Network Open, found that 44 percent of all COVID-19 cases and 40 percent of COVID-19 deaths in nursing homes counted by state health departments went unreported in the federal data.

The pause on federal student loan payments has been extended until January 31, 2022. The freeze was put in place at the start of the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020 as the federal government worried millions of debt holders would default on loans due to job loss and the down turned economy. Education Department officials have extended the pause under the Biden administration and former President Trump’s administration several times. It most recently was set to expire September 30. The Biden administration said this is the final time they will extend the pause on repayment. “As our nation’s economy continues to...
