An MSNBC political contributor said Tuesday that the Biden administration should send the government to Republican states for a "federal takeover" of elections, arguing that such a drastic measure is supposed to be taken if it is determined a state is "violating people’s civil liberties."
"This is an emergency," exclaimed Dr. Jason Johnson while discussing a lawsuit brought against Texas by the Department of Justice over the state's redistricting maps. Johnson was responding to "Black Votes Matter" co-founder Latosha Brown, who claimed without evidence that Republican states are passing legislation to gain the authority to "step in" and "throw out" any election results they don’t like.
The DOJ lawsuit alleges the districts drawn by Texas lawmakers violate the federal Voting Rights Act by diluting the voting strength of minority voters.

Get bent, libs.
We should have had a federal takeover of elections in Philly, Chicago and Detroit in the ‘80s by that reasoning.
But gerrymandering in Illinois and California is just dandy
F*** this racist b***h
In 2020, 30% of elections in Virginia were managed/observed by GOP workers.
In 2021, 70%+ of elections in Virginia were managed/observed by GOP workers.
That is what the communists fear.
Not even hiding their intentions anymore.
He obviously is a DR. in the Morons ‘R Us clinic.
They have the Swivil Frights ACT!
Buahahahahahahahahaha!
These leftist wing nuts see the Trump tsunami building.
They finally have hauled their heads out of their arses and now are so scared they want to stick 'em back up in there into their Wet Dreams Utopia.
Effing Commies. You are about to get keel hauled in the mid terms.
These ass hats also would opt for a shooting war with Rusha Rusha Rusha too as a distraction!
"I Love The Smell Of Napalm In The Morning"
Hillary Clinton: “Why aren’t I fifty points ahead?”
Every Democrat: “Why do we allow two political parties? Can’t we just be dictators?”
Projecting a future of single candidate elections.
I just want to make sure Bob Dole doesn’t vote for Democrats next year, as 131,000 dead people did in Illinois last year.
I wish I was a billionaire, I would offer these asshats $100 million if they could produce one shred of evidence of anyone legally allowed to vote being denied their right to vote. It’s like the magician James Randi “The Amazing Randi” who I actually met 10 years ago, offering a million bucks to anyone who could produce evidence of supernatural powers such as ESP, mind reading, paranormal powers or telekinesis. He had that offer since 1996 and not one person ever won it yet we still have people believing in that stuff.
I see “Black Votes Matter” co-founder, Latitsha Brown, consulted pollsters in Fantasyland who were polling on Gay Day at Disney.
Plus the Tooth Fairy told her, Republican states are passing legislation to gain the authority to “step in” and “throw out” any election results they don’t like.
Yep....what is with these NBC (Nothing But Commies) talking heads....this one, and Cramer, calling for federal take over for voting and jabbing?
They cannot be anymore obvious....showing us what they most fear.
Hum...Suggesting a coup?
They are activists, not journalists. Just like Cuomo, Lemon and Stephanopolous....all of whom are loyal communist party members working to advance the agenda while behaving as good Pravda members.
While you’re at it why not suggest all conservative websites and news sites be taken over by the Liberal ones.
And then get some tax money to supplement their salaries for being such great Americans?
But gerrymandering in Illinois and California is just dandy
F*** this racist b***h
Yes I know it first hand. They are taking a state like Illinois that is probably 60% Democrat and 40% republican and making our concessional representatives of 17 there will be 14 Dems and 3 Reps. How is that fair representation? And our district boundaries look like a freaking Jigsaw puzzle.
