As the dust and ash settles from the recent earthshaking eruption of Mt. Republican, I think it's time to take stock of where we are in now red America. Dazed and confused blue-media types are still stumbling around unshaven and disheveled, trying to comprehend it all. There are a few reasons that now make me more confident than ever that George W. Bush will win re-election. One of those reasons is that, whenever John Kerry begins to gain some headway, he always ends up reverting to what will be his downfall: Being himself.
