Iowa Governor Kim Reynolds has used a 'burner' account on X to secretly post and re-post anti-Donald Trump content on the social media app ahead of her state's first-in-the-nation caucus, according to a report. Reynolds, who endorsed Florida Governor Ron DeSantis in the Republican primary, is not the first anti-Trump heavy hitter to get caught with a burner, after Mitt Romney's infamous 'Pierre Delecto' account was unearthed in 2019. But, the Reynolds revelation came just four days before voters will begin to caucus for both candidates, as well as former South Carolina Governor and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley. 'The contrast...

ESPN returned dozens of Emmy statues and “disciplined” employees after an investigation disclosed Thursday found that the sports network had submitted fake names to the awards organization in a bid to secure trophies for on-air personalities who had been ineligible to receive them. The apparent fraud stretched back to 1997, ESPN said in a statement, acknowledging that members of its team “were clearly wrong” for concocting the scheme. “Some members of our team were clearly wrong in submitting certain names that may go back to 1997 in Emmy categories where they were not eligible for recognition or statuettes,” an ESPN...

The Food and Drug Administration (FDA) released an advisory Thursday warning customers not to use counterfeit Ozempic shots found in the drug supply chain. The agency advised wholesalers, retail pharmacies, health care practitioners and patients to check the products they receive and to not distribute, sell or use products labeled with NAR0074 and serial number 430834149057, as some counterfeit products may still be available.

Nearly three years after the violent breach on the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, a lawmaker presented FBI director Christopher Wray with a new theory about how people arrived at the Capitol that day. Do you know what a ‘ghost bus’ is?" Wray said he wasn’t familiar with the term. Higgins expounded. "These (ghost) buses are nefarious in nature and were filled with FBI informants dressed as...

This is not a metaphor, but what’s happening in the country, literally. I mean, you can’t make this sh*t up: https://twitter.com/satanic_temple_/status/1734937818210897994 It is 100% impossible to restrict gun rights based on the US Constitution. “Shall not be infringed” is very straightforward. However, the people in charge of the country have been violating the Constitution since the late 19th century and they threw it out completely in the 1960s.

I haven't subscribed to Sports Illustrated since the 1990s. By then, the poetry had gone out of the games, and writers who could tell stories were left talking about contracts, scandals, and the corporatism that dominated the games. The ravenous maw of sports media chewed up interesting personalities and spit them out, leaving a soulless shadow behind. But in its heyday, SI was home to some of the best English language writers who used the short form of magazine writing to create achingly beautiful masterpieces. There were Frank Deford, Rick Telander, Jim Murray, and Rick Reilly's "Backpage" column that I...
