The girl who recorded and originally posted video to Facebook of a vicious attack on a white girl and her little brother is Toshonna Ferguson, Gotnews.com has learned. Ferguson can be heard laughing as the girl and her 5-year-old little brother are assaulted by “Nook” a.k.a. Destiny Martin. Her Facebook page (along with ‘Nook’s’ – the girl doing the beating – are now deleted). Martin was arrested yesterday. No idea of Toshonna’s status (or if the police know who she is).

The study, which analyzed what Facebook sees before and after a relationship starts, found a typical courtship on the social networking site begins with messages being exchanged, visiting of profiles and sharing posts on each other's timelines. There is an increase in the number of timeline posts shared between a potential couple 100 days before the relationship begins, followed by a significant drop in posts immediately after the relationship starts, the researchers said.
  • Beck: Facebook’s Failure May Be Part of Government Plan to Control Internet

Was Facebook systematically overvalued in order to force it into a government bailout? That’s the hypothesis that Glenn Beck offered on GBTV tonight, and like many of Beck’s hypotheses, you might be surprised at the evidence that exists for it. In a nearly 20 minute segment, Beck meticulously and carefully picked his way through the past record of the company that handled the IPO for Facebook – Morgan Stanley – and pointed out that they don’t exactly have a record of success in helping companies go public. “Morgan Stanley was the lead consultant on Fannie and Freddie bailouts,” Beck said...

.Facebook Inc. FB +0.61%took eight years to stage one of the most anticipated initial public offerings ever. The anticlimax came Friday, as Wall Street bankers struggled to prevent the newly minted stock from ending its first day with a loss. The stock had been widely predicted to soar on its first day. Instead, up until the closing moments of the trading session, Facebook's underwriters battled to keep the stock from slipping below its offering price of $38 a share. Such a stumble would have been a significant embarrassment, particularly for a prominent new issue like Facebook, the most heavily traded...
  • Facebook's Fascism in Group Membership Elimination

A couple weeks back I described a deeply disturbing development at Facebook here. Facebook management is dismantling groups, eliminating their memberships with an "upgrade" that is only available to some groups. Neil Munro over at The Daily Caller has picked up on the story and done some digging: Facebook upgrade spurs fears of political bias Facebook’s managers are deploying a new software upgrade that will dismantle myriad groups of like-minded political activists unless they get a special software-key from the company. But Facebook managers are providing very limited information about which groups are being favored with the new key, prompting...
