Steve Gardner was there with John Kerry. He was the forward gunner on Kerry's boat in Vietnam. He watched, worked with, and closely observed Kerry on a daily basis for a significant amount of time in the Combat Zone in Vietnam. Long enough to know the guy was a schmuck and slimeball.
