The Senate hasadopted an amendment to the FY 2003 Defense Authorization Bill which wouldfully eliminate the VA disability compensation offset to military retiredpay for all disabled retirees with 20 or more years of service, effectiveOctober 1, 2002. Issue 2: Administration Issues Veto Threat.
