Michigan held its primary elections last week and it was great fun to watch. In the governor's race, the Democrats put up Larry, Moe and Curly. Curly won. One of the Democratic candidates for governor was former governor James Blanchard, who did a lousy job as governor last time and then couldn't find a job. Clinton felt sorry for him and made him ambassador to Canada. But, Blanchard wanted more out of life and so took a position as a lobbyist. He only received a dismal 24% of the Democratic vote this time around. Another funny candidate was the far-left...

<p>Jennifer Granholm wrapped up the Democratic nomination for governor Tuesday, according to exit polling.</p> <p>Propelled by voters who decided months ago to support her and never changed their mind, Granholm led her two opponents by a large margin, the Detroit Free Press/WXYZ exit poll showed.</p>

What a night. The Lansing Center was packed. Around 850. I got there about 4:15. There was a reception for the officers and our most decicated activists there at 5. The meeting itself started at 7. After the first business stuff was taken care of, the main speakers were introduced. First was Our next governor - Dick Posthumus. Posthumus is the ONLY pro-2a candidate for governor running.(David Bonior is 100% ANTI, not pro). To quote what he said "Jenny Granholm says Jim Blanchard is wrong. Blanchard says David Bonior is wrong. Bonior says Granholm is wrong. Well, they're all right!!!"...
