Sometimes data or information that seems completely disconnected can tell a story when taken together. I experienced that recently. Over the course of a few days I saw a number of posts on X that caught my attention. First was a post stating that âWhites make up only 8% of the worldâs population⌠so in fact, we are the minority.â That 8% is down from a peak of approximately 25% in the 19th century. Next I saw a post that featured a map of the world and showed the average IQ of the citizens. Hong Kong had the highest, with...

In his Wall Street Journal column (âWhy Hamas Atrocities Lead the Left to Hate Israel More,â Oct. 20) Shany Mor wrote that "many would think that an atrocity like Hamasâs Oct. 7 massacre in Israel would lead opponents of the Jewish state to temper their attacks."... No British institution has demonstrated this pathology more than The Guardian, which, since Hamasâ Oct. 7 ISIS-style massacre of more than 1,400 Jews â which included rape, and murdering scores children and even babies in cold blood, and which forced hundreds of thousands of Israeli citizens of those border communities from their homes â...

Germany will not declare Lebanonâs Hezbollah movement a terrorist organization, a top official said Friday. Deputy Minister in the Foreign Ministry Niels Annen told news magazine Der Spiegel that the Iran-backed Shiite Islamist movement is a relevant factor in Lebanese society and part of the complex political landscape in the country. The comments come after Britain last month banned Hezbollahâs political wing, accusing the movement of destabilizing the Middle East. âThe British move is a national decision that has no direct impact on the position of the German government or the EU,â said Annen. The European Union had already added...

US Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell on Friday demanded an independent investigation into a German journalist who was caught making up key details in a series of reports for Der Spiegel news magazine. He said the revelations âare troubling to the US Embassy, particularly because several of these fake stories focused on US policies and certain segments of the American people.â He said he wrote to the editors of the respected news weekly calling for an âindependent and transparent investigation.â He said it was clear the US had been the victim of institutional bias at the magazine, saying the outlet...

Charles Blow writes a regular column for The New York Times. Julius Streicher wrote a regular column for Der Sturmer. Therefore, Charles Blow is Julius Streicher. Are you following this logic? Neither am I. But it is the rationale that Charles Blow uses to argue that Trump is Hitler. I am not kiddingâŚand Blow is his real nameâŚand truly he does write op-eds for The New York TimesâŚand The New York Times is indeed Der Sturmer, a proposition weâll get to in a moment. Weâll get to it once we follow Blowâs stream of thought, and how he manages to...

Andrew Anglin, 30, the publisher of the neo-Nazi website Daily Stormer, wouldnât say where he was. He wouldnât even say if he was in America. Anglin has gotten a lot of media requests after the Southern Poverty Law Center said Dylann Roof, the man accused of killing nine black parishioners in Charleston, S.C., last week, was possibly a commenter on the Daily Stormer, Anglin said in a Skype audio interview Tuesday. Anglin decided to respond to a Los Angeles Times interview request because -- itâs a small world -- he saw the reporter tweet Monday night about reading âThe Forever...

The good news is that The New York Times has to dump another hundred reporters. The bad news is that Tom Friedman is still on the beat. But the paper, constantly eyeing Der Sturmer for inspiration, keeps losing readers in droves. People have begun to catch on. Theyâre catching on to what Iâve been saying for years, that The New York Times is the most anti-Semitic newspaper in the entire world. [âŚ] Todayâs op-ed needle comes from yet another scoffer named Roger Cohenâor is this the same dunce who appears time and again? I donât know. [âŚ] So whatâs the...

NEW YORK Appearing on Donny Deutsch's CNBC show, "The Big Idea," on Monday night, columnist/author Ann Coulter suggested that the U.S. would be a better place if there weren't any Jewish people and that they needed to "perfect" themselves into -- Christians. It led Deutsch to suggest that surely she couldn't mean that, and when she insisted she did, he said this sounded "anti-Semitic." Asked by Deutsch whether she wanted to be like "the head of Iran" and "wipe Israel off the Earth," Coulter stated: "No, we just want Jews to be perfected, as they say. ... That's what Christianity...

When political leaders make drastic mistakes, accountability is delivered in the form of elections. That occurred in November when voters removed the party principally responsible for the war in Iraq. But the invasion would not have occurred had Americans not been persuaded of its wisdom and necessity, and leading that charge was a stable of pundits and media analysts who glorified President Bushâs policies and disseminated all sorts of false information and baseless assurances. Yet there seems to be no accountability for these pro-war pundits.
