City Hall inundated with opposition to 'Happy Holidays' sign It's a merry Christmas after all. Mayor John Hickenlooper, seeking to distance himself from Ebenezer Scrooge, said Thursday he wouldn't replace the "Merry Christmas" sign outside City Hall with one that instead read "Happy Holidays."
