During the debate in the governor’s race between Hochul and Rep. Lee Zeldin, Hochul dismissed the issue of crime, saying that “ "Anyone who commits a crime under our laws, especially with the change we made to bail, has consequences” and that she doesn’t know why the issue is “so important” to Zeldin.

In last night’s gubernatorial debate in New York, Kathy Hochul followed the Democrats’ losing national strategy of ignoring the reality of their own policy failures and instead stressing abortion, gun control, and a man who is not on the ballot or in office, Donald Trump. In a state which normally hands statewide races to Democrats, polls are now “uncomfortably close” in the governor’s race. Michael Goodwin of the New York Post, called it a “decisive victory” for Zeldin:This wasn’t a knockout, but a victory on points because he made specific and realistic promises to improve life in New York. Hochul,...

A teacher booted from one city high school for flirting with students and posting a nearly nude photo of himself on Snapchat is back in the classroom at an elite Manhattan school under a different last name – with the apparent blessing of the city Department of Education, The Post has learned. Gabriel Mitey, 28, who is certified in special education, worked last year at the Lower Manhattan Arts Academy, or LOMA, where several students complained to other faculty of bizarre behavior. Mitey now goes by Gabriel Torres. And despite being the subject of five different probes, he is teaching...

Republican gubernatorial candidate Lee Zeldin said Saturday that he’s gotten an earful from NYPD cops who are furious that their union donated $25,000 to Democratic Gov. Kathy Hochul’s campaign — while not giving the tough-on-crime candidate a cent in the tight race. “We have heard from a lot of NYPD officers who are pissed off [after] learning that their money went to Kathy Hochul, who is pandering to these pro-criminal allies in the state Legislature,” the Long Island congressman told Fox News’ Neil Cavuto. Zeldin had been questioned about a Post report on the controversial donation made by the New...

Police saw Carmon Tussey walking briskly toward a crowded Louisville bar carrying a semi-automatic weapon. With people running away, officers moved in, service weapons drawn. They put the 26-year-old in handcuffs and confiscated his gun. Tussey was later charged with terroristic threatening, wanton endangerment and disorderly conduct, prosecutors said, and could face up to 20 years in prison. His lawyer says he “was engaged in perfectly legal behavior” in the incident last year, raising a relatively new legal argument in the United States that now stands before the courts to settle. That’s because Kentucky made it legal in 2019 to...

by Jim Clayborn | RNNThe dramatic moment a brute on a bicycle punched an unsuspecting 60-year-old woman in the face was captured on surveillance video. Actress Susan Sarandon, an ardent leftist during her professional life who routinely retweets other ardent leftists, posted a message on social media akin to the message that actress Gina Carano posted in early 2021 that got her canceled. In early 2021, Carano, then starring in Disney’s “The Mandalorian,” posted a message on Instagram to illustrate her feelings about the hate directed toward political conservatives. She posted a photo with the caption: Jews were beaten in the streets, not by Nazi soldiers but by their neighbors…even by children. Because history is edited, most people today don’t realize that to get to...

Its always great to see the "defenud the police" far left crazies like this deranged creature, Kshama Sawant, go running to the police demanding protection after being the victim of crime herself (when big quantities of human poop were dumped in her yard), brought on in part by massive cuts in police budgets that she fought for. The beauty of all this is, even if the guy is caught, they'd have to release him immediately, thanks to "criminal just reform" laws passed by the ever crazy Kshama Sawant. Just over 11 minutes. Worth watching.

The liberal Navigator public tracking poll flashed a major warning sign for Democrats in mid-October, reporting a 20 percentage point jump since September in the share of independent voters concerned about the economy and gas prices. That was not the only data showing a turning of the tide in the battle for Congress. Regional challenges had shown up in internal Democratic polls from deep blue sanctums in the Pacific Northwest, New York and even Rhode Island, Democratic strategists say. Crime, a major focus of Republican advertising, has also risen as a major issue in several races. Candidates say they have...

A police force has deleted a social media post encouraging trans people to report 'deadnaming' as a 'hate crime' after an intervention from the Home Secretary. Leicestershire Police took to Twitter to encourage people who are transgender to report when a person deliberately refers to someone by their pre-transition name. The force used a 'stock image' of a trans woman with 'fictitious' quotes which were made up by an 'experienced' officer. But the post, which was widely shared on social media, sparked a backlash from Home Secretary Suella Braverman. ... ...

A progressive Seattle lawmaker known for her efforts to defund police claimed local cops ignored a series of politically-motived feces flinging attacks on her house City Councilmember Kshama Sawant, 49, wrote in a letter that the Seattle Police Department was “failing to investigate” six incidents in which the human excrement was tossed into her yard, KCPQ-TV reported Friday. “As a socialist City Councilmember who has participated in Black Lives Matter protests, I am being told that my case of six threatening incidents involving human excrement doesn’t merit even a serious investigation, let alone protection,” she wrote to city officials. One...

Shocking video captures a group of teens viciously assaulting a woman and throwing her off a Washington, DC, bus – because she asked them to stop using “foul language.” Kyla Thurston, a passenger on the DC Metrobus, told the rowdy teens to stop cursing Monday after a woman and a young child boarded, Fox 5 DC reported. “At that point, the kids became unruly. They started being disrespectful, like saying things to me,” Thurston, 42, told the news outlet. “Then next thing you know, there were objects being thrown at me, and I was just like, ‘Thank You, Lord,’ because...

New data prove it. On Wednesday, the New York State Division of Criminal Justice Services (DCJS) quietly dropped a bombshell. For months, the state has avoided releasing much-needed data on individuals who were arraigned in New York before lawmakers passed bail reform. But newly available data confirm what critics have long argued: bail reform was followed by a significant increase in criminal reoffending. It’s worth explaining the new data in detail. Until now, analysts not privy to government databases had to use data on arraignments in New York State published by the Office of Courts Administration. Those data currently cover...

A group of violent Philadelphia ATV drivers was caught on video attacking police by throwing bricks and bottles at the officers before fleeing the scene, police said. The Philadelphia Police Department shared video on Tuesday showing "a large group of people riding dirt bikes and ATV’s" around a gas station near Delaware Avenue and Spring Garden Street, police said. According to police, a dirt bike rider initially crashed...
