During the debate in the governor’s race between Hochul and Rep. Lee Zeldin, Hochul dismissed the issue of crime, saying that “ "Anyone who commits a crime under our laws, especially with the change we made to bail, has consequences” and that she doesn’t know why the issue is “so important” to Zeldin.

Typical elitist New Yorker. They only care about legacy wealth and Wall Street. The poor are just ants to them.
If she actually cared about crime, she and Cuomo wouldn’t have released thousands of the State’s prison convicts early during the lockdown, while not requiring them to complete their court mandated sentences, nor would she have closed six State prisons this past Spring, releasing thousands of inmates early to make room for the displaced convicts from the closed prisons.
She and the party elites who put her into office want it that way. The dems allowed arson, theft, assault, rape and murder in 2020 and want more of it.
And the dems are all screaming about Paul Pelosi's gay trick gone wrong.
Wherever Hochul goes ,she is protected by armed bodyguards. If she really wants to experience the fear and anxiety people are feeling every day in New York, she should allow her daughter to ride the subway daily without those armed guards.
Mmmm if guns were illegal, folks in NY wouldn’t be afraid of the crimes and criminals in the state. No guns, no crimes doncha know? /s
