A teacher booted from one city high school for flirting with students and posting a nearly nude photo of himself on Snapchat is back in the classroom at an elite Manhattan school under a different last name – with the apparent blessing of the city Department of Education, The Post has learned.
Gabriel Mitey, 28, who is certified in special education, worked last year at the Lower Manhattan Arts Academy, or LOMA, where several students complained to other faculty of bizarre behavior.
Mitey now goes by Gabriel Torres. And despite being the subject of five different probes, he is teaching classes in algebra and earth science at the highly coveted 6-12 Professional Performing Arts School, known as PPAS, in Midtown. A photo of a smiling Mitey on the cafeteria bulletin board identifies him as “Mr. Torres.”

It is New York City. That tells you all you need to know. Anything as long is it is perverse goes. The more degenerate, the better.
Sigh. We had a substitute teacher in HS who did this in the low-tech version of the times. I think he taught art or something related, since I had classes with him and I went to a special HS for the arts in NYC.
When he came prancing out of the classroom, all the boys took off in other directions. I remember one time that a boy hadn’t been fast enough, and the teacher shot over and draped his arm around him and started rubbing the boy’s stomach and chest until the boy broke away and ran off to the other guys.
He was a substitute teacher, and evidently so many parents complained that he suddenly disappeared from our school after less than a semester.
Of course, since this was union NYC, I later heard that he was “teaching” at another HS in the Bronx.
That’s the union for you, the union makes us strong by protecting total malfeasance at worst and ineptitude at best.
I think the unions should be investigated for protecting sex offenders.
The democrat party loves child predators. Even their FBI pass up child predators to punish their enemies. Just look at chomo Joe.

And laws against sexual weirdos teaching in any tax supported school.
