Louisville “protesters” stormed a restaurant and threw tables and chairs on the outdoor patio on Wednesday, following the announcement that officers would not be charged for the death of Breonna Taylor. The restaurant and it’s owners, of course, had nothing to do with the shooting or the grand jury’s decision.

Philadelphia’s police union is blasting Hillary Clinton for inviting relatives of victims of police shootings to speak at the Democratic National Convention next week, but failing to include relatives of slain police officers. John McNesby, president of the Fraternal Order of Police Lodge 5, said the union was “shocked and saddened” by the planned choice of speakers at the convention, which opens Monday in Philadelphia.

Jerman Neveaux, the suspect arrested in the fatal shooting of Jefferson Parish Sheriff's Office Deputy David Michel Jr., has been booked with first-degree murder and other charges, authorities said. Neveaux, 19, was also booked with aggravated assault with a firearm, battery of a police officer and resisting arrest, said Col. John Fortunato, spokesman for the department. A Park County deputy was shot and killed during a shootout with a suspect at a home in Bailey. Two other deputies, also with Park County, were injured. Their injuries are not life threatening. The Park County Sheriff's Office says the shootout involved the three deputies and one suspect. The suspect was also shot and killed.
