As my colleague Bonchie reported, Axios reporter Sara Fischer appeared on CNN to complain about former President and GOP nominee Donald Trump having an unfettered microphone with Elon Musk on X. The Monday night conversation hails Trump's return to the X (formerly Twitter) platform where he was unceremoniously booted almost four years before, and it has the entire legacy media complex shook. (Snip) My Twitchy colleague PolitiBunny is quite correct. They despise the fact that they are on the outside looking in. You can hear the sarcasm dripping from Fischer's voice when she says, "Online fringe." This online fringe she...

Mimicry of intelligence isn't intelligence, and so while AI mimicry is a powerful tool, it isn't intelligent. The mythology of Technology has a special altar for AI, artificial intelligence, which is reverently worshiped as the source of astonishing cost reductions (as human labor is replaced by AI) and the limitless expansion of consumption and profits. AI is the blissful perfection of technology's natural advance to ever greater powers. The consensus holds that the advance of AI will lead to a utopia of essentially limitless control of Nature and a cornucopia of leisure and abundance. If we pull aside the mythology's curtain, we find...

Computing giant seeks to get 'leaner' as it recognizes the potential of AI to grow faster than its competitors. One of the world’s biggest tech companies is about to become ‘leaner’, after Dell announced to its employees that it would be laying off further staff.Just a few weeks after its workers expressed their dissatisfaction at Dell’s return to office policy, the company sent a memo to staff on Monday to notify them of the impending redundancies and cited the need for “streamlining layers of management”. It’s the second consecutive year that Dell has made significant cuts to its workforce. The memo also...

OpenAI is reportedly facing another lawsuit on its supposed artificial intelligence training methods, this time by YouTuber David Millette. Lawyers for David Millette, a YouTube user from Massachusetts, claim in a lawsuit filed on Friday in the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of California that OpenAI secretly transcribed videos from Millette and other creators to train the models for their AI-powered chatbot platform, ChatGPT, and other generative AI tools and products. The complaint reportedly alleges that OpenAI significantly benefited from the creators' work by gathering this data, while also infringing copyright law and YouTube's terms of service which...

VIDEO"Mr Beast" (the worlds largest, and most famous YouTuber) appears to have an ex employee openly claiming that he rigs competitions, and runs illegal lotteries. With a barrage of situations recently bringing his company under a microscope, there are questions that need to be asked about when exactly a YouTube creator, bridges the gap to be held accountable by larger broadcasting laws with regards to lotteries, giveaways, sweepstakes and game shows. With a career built around giving away large sums of money (with seemingly little oversight)... Mr. Beast is sitting in a metaphorical house of cards.

The House Judiciary Committee released a report showing how the Global Alliance for Responsible Media (GARM) organized corporate cooperation aimed at silencing conservative viewpoints over the Internet by "demonetizing their platforms, podcasts, and news outlets." GARM's leader and co-founder, Rob Rakowitz emphasized that "our goal is to ensure that vendors don't inadvertently place ads on sites whose content could misinform the public. When we spot an ad on Breitbart, X, or Joe Rogan we contact the company to ask them if they really want ads for their product or service to be seen on these disreputable sites and whether they...

AT&T suffered a massive data breach that saw data from 'nearly all' of its customers' accounts illegally downloaded, the company has confirmed. The compromised data included records of calls and texts of wireless subscribers and landline customers over a five month period in 2022. AT&T listed it had 110 million wireless customers that year, which would make this hack one of the biggest breaches of private communications data in recent history. Although the exposed data did not include customer names, there are 'publicly available online tools' capable of connecting numbers with people's identities, the company said. AT&T admitted it had...

Leftists create literally thousands of organizations – with the most innocent-sounding names – to hide their use of tax-free Dark Money to influence U.S. elections. The Fractal team, using advanced quantum technology, entered this organization – The Voter Participation Center – and into its recently released Fractal Dark Money System and the results were shocking. This one organization is tied to literally thousands of Leftist organizations, some tied to Chinese organizations, and in hundreds of cases tied to groups who are registering voters and running political campaigns. VIDEO AT LINK................... Some of these connected organizations are tied to Chinese Communist...

This approach saves an extraordinary amount of energy compared to normal computers, but there is a big problem. The lab-grown miniature human brains keep wearing out and dying, and so scientists have to keep growing new ones to replace them. Stem cells that are derived from human skin tissue are used to create the 16 spherical brain “organoids” that the system depends upon. I realize that this sounds like something straight out of a really bad science fiction movie, but it is actually happening. (snip) If the enslaved mini-brains do what they are supposed to do, they are rewarded with...

A couple of weeks ago, I covered the large round of layoffs at the Left-wing activist group known as Media Matters. Many conservatives celebrated the news because of course, Media Matters exists for the sole purpose of smearing the opponents of the Democratic Party. They misrepresent people’s words, stalk them on social media, and so on. But Media Matters’ dishonest attack on Elon Musk and Twitter appears to have been a bridge too far. Elon Musk fought back with a massive lawsuit, which Media Matters’ management cited as one reason for the layoffs. For my part, I wasn’t particularly thrilled...

The startup offers an AI-based legacy service, which allows you to communicate with loved ones even after you die. Humanity has long sought, and failed, to achieve immortality. Now the AI era has a solution. Sort of. Eternos is a startup that creates AI voice clones of people so their loved ones can continue to interact with them after they've died. t's one of the more far out uses of generative AI, a technology with wide-ranging applicability, from generating content to planning summer travel, scheduling home repairs and translating baby cries. And as AI rapidly evolves, these use cases will...
