"Mr Beast" (the worlds largest, and most famous YouTuber) appears to have an ex employee openly claiming that he rigs competitions, and runs illegal lotteries.
With a barrage of situations recently bringing his company under a microscope, there are questions that need to be asked about when exactly a YouTube creator, bridges the gap to be held accountable by larger broadcasting laws with regards to lotteries, giveaways, sweepstakes and game shows.
With a career built around giving away large sums of money (with seemingly little oversight)... Mr. Beast is sitting in a metaphorical house of cards.
“court of law if this is pursued.”
LOL, you’re joking right? A court of law in the US. That is funny.
I read up on the allegations against his former co-presenter, Kris Tyson, which lead me to reading about the Wild West that is interaction between YouTuber “influencers” and underage kids on the internet. There is zero regulation and zero voluntary policing of what is said or done. Some influencers, like Tyson, deliberately engage in very sexual talk with minors and show them porn. But there are many, many others (see Colleen Ballinger). It is shocking.
Where does he get his millions for his big projects?
Either he was born a millionaire or he is being funded.
he, mr beast that is went to school with a relative. I was told then when he was in high school he was making money on the internet. he has millions of subscribers which means youtue pays millions in itself. so that is how he does it.
These youtubers and twitch streamers and the like are making beaucoup ca$h. It’s really nutz.
I am aware that some have made a lot of money with clicks. However, I’m also aware that almost all social media were inventions of the CIA for the purpose of social control.
I've always said Conservatives LOVE big government, as long as it is THEIR big government. This is not a lack of government intervention. It's failure by the parents, period.
It was only just last week that I first heard of this guy. He started out, about ten years ago, making dopey low grade video game commentary. Today, he’s got something like 87 million subscribers and makes tens of millions per year in CPMs and sponsors. Pretty impressive.
He calls himself Mr Beast but he doesn’t look anything like a beast.
Some say it is a deliberate biblical reference as in "Mark of the Beast." Take out the second and last letters of "Mark" and you have... "Mr" as in Mr Beast.
The group photo of him with his several co-hosts looks to me like they are all gay. I wonder if he was promoted on youtube because he is.
