  • Rep. Ilhan Omar slams Barack Obama's message of 'hope and change' as a 'mirage'

    FoxNews.com ^ | Mar 8, 2019 | Liam Quinn | Fox News
Rookie Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar, fresh off igniting an intra-party uproar with comments widely viewed as anti-Semitic, took a swipe at former President Barack Obama, saying in an explosive interview the 44th president's message of "hope and change" was a "mirage" and blasting his administration's drone and border detention policies. Omar, D-Minn., took aim at the president's famed slogan, while further criticizing the Democratic Party for “perpetuating the status quo,” in the interview with Politico.“Recalling the ‘caging of kids’ at the U.S.-Mexico border and the ‘droning of countries around the world’ on Obama’s watch," Omar charged that Obama "operated within the same fundamentally broken framework as...

The redesigns of the new CPUSA.org website has begun. Our aim is to have an aesthetically beautiful multi-media platform which enhances our ability to build community, provide Marxist education and tools for action. It should be a resource not just for our members but the left and broader movements. We need your help in the design process. Please give us your input! What do you like about the old website? What don't you like about the old website? What is missing or cool about other websites we should consider? What functions and features should we have to make it really...
  • White House Praises Protestors After Forcing University of Missouri President To Step Down

The Obama administration is praising protesters who successfully forced University of Missouri President Tim Wolfe to announce his resignation. White House Press Secretary Josh Earnest praised the group of protesters for rallying together and demanding change, pointing out that Obama’s first presidential campaign was embodied by the same spirit. “I think this also illustrates something that the president talked a lot about in the context of – in his campaign, that a few people speaking up and speaking out can have a profound impact on the communities where we live and work,” he said during the daily press briefing today....

Pope Francis urged a more humane global system that respects the poor and the environment, as he criticized the economic order, in an address to the United Nations on Friday. The pontiff, whose reform-minded approach has won him a rousing global following even from non-believers, offered his vision of a better world on his latest stop of a US tour that has brought thousands to the streets to welcome him. Taking the UN rostrum, the leader of the world’s more than one billion Catholics called for reform to global bodies, including the UN Security Council and financial lenders, to “limit...

Harris County Sheriff Deputy and Killer ABC13 Texas Sheriff’s Deputy Darren Goforth was shot dead this weekend while pumping gas into his squad car. Milwaukee Sheriff David Clarke placed the blame for the execution of Harris County deputy Darren Goforth squarely upon President Barack Obama and former Attorney General Eric Holder. The Democratic Party under Obama refuses to call Islamists ‘terrorists.’ This same party uses outrageous comparisons when discussing Republicans. The Obama Foreign Policy Doctrine...
  • Obama the Magnificent (Muslim)

You have to give President Obama credit: he is a transformational figure, and the American media are loath to give him the credit he deserves. Of course, the transformation he has had in mind and has partially accomplished had to be covert, for the American voters would never have chosen this course knowingly. For the scope of the change he has wrought, as well as the cleverness of his strategy, sooner or later the Islamic world is bound to proclaim him, “Obama the Magnificent.” The domestic aspect of the makeover is the lesser achievement. When the Mohammed cartoon contest in...

The reemergence of a Democratic left will be one of the major stories of 2014. Moderates, don’t be alarmed. The return of a viable, vocal left will actually be good news for the political center. For a long time, the American conversation has been terribly distorted because an active, uncompromising political right has not had to face a comparably influential left. As a result, our entire debate has been dragged in a conservative direction, meaning that the center has been pulled that way, too.
  • The Stakes Are High. The threat of Obama's second term.

This is perhaps the most lucid, even-handed, and convincing examination to date of the threat that President Obama - and his potential reelection - poses to our republic. No one who reads I Am the Change will come away thinking this election is about the economy. In truth, this election pits America's founding principles against Obama's efforts to transform them. Obama noted as much in October 2008, declaring in a rare moment of candor, "We are five days away from fundamentally transforming the United States of America." Kesler cautions: "Those words mean this will be a different country when he's...
  • What Has Obama Learned? (What A Question)

The Oval Office isn't the place to learn on the job. That was the line from both Hillary Clinton and John McCain in 2008. In fairness, that's always the argument the more experienced candidate uses against the less experienced candidate (just ask Mitt Romney). But Barack Obama seemed a special case, easily among the least experienced major-party nominees in U.S. history. A Pew poll in August 2008 found that the biggest concern voters had with Obama fell under the category of "personal abilities and experience." In a "change" year, Americans swallowed those concerns and voted for the change candidate. Four...

September 20, 2012 Obama’s Learned He’s a Failure Jonah Goldberg This is a remarkable admission: Obama video - "I've learned you can't change Washington from the inside".Two points: 1) Given how he so often says he wakes up every morning thinking about what he could do to create jobs, it’s interesting that he says his inability to pass comprehensive immigration reform (even when he totally controlled Congress) was his biggest failure. But I suppose that can be written off as simple pandering. 2) His biggest lesson, meanwhile, is that “you can’t change Washington from the inside.” Wait a second. In...

Why isn't this on the news? Would they report it if he said he was a socialist? Well I guess not because even after his redistribution of wealth video surfaced yesterday, the corrupt media did not report it. We are going to have to figure out a way to make people understand the media needs to go. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xsobm33ATC0&feature=player_embedded

<p>"And I confess the progress didn't come quickly, and it did not come easily," President Obama said about his time as a community organizer in Chicago. "Sometimes it didn't come at all. There were times where I thought about giving up and moving on. But what kept me going day in and day out was the same thing that has sustained the Urban League all these years. The same thing that sustains all of you. And that is the belief that in America, change is always possible. That our union may not be perfect, but it is perfectible."</p>

Just watched a bit of the replay of Scott Walker's victory speech from last night....couldn't help but notice the giant FORWARD placard on his podium! I realize "Forward" is the state motto for Wisconsin, but I also can't help but think Scott purposely decided on using the motto since Obamugabe decided to steal the term for HIS attempt to lengthen his grip on power.

There has been some interesting commentary in the conservative media regarding the new Obama campaign slogan for 2012: "Forward!" The slogan debuted on April 30 -- May Day eve -- in a seven-minute video by the Obama campaign, with the "O" in "Forward!" familiarly styled upon the Obama logo.

President Obama referred to the Constitution's ability to help those who had originally been left out to fight their way in, especially when it came to unresolved race and gender rights. Obama likened the Constitutional to a "constant forward movement" in his commencement address to the women-only Barnard College. "What made this document special was that it made it possible for those who were left out to fight their way back in a constant forward movement," Obama said. "We look forward, not back." Obama's campaign slogan, FORWARD, was introduced last month.

  • Ten Rejected Obama Campaign Slogans

It wasn't long after the Obama campaign revealed "Forward" as its new reelection slogan this morning that it was accused of stealing from, or perhaps synergizing with, liberal cable-news network MSNBC, whose motto has been "Lean Forward" since October 2010. However, top sources within the Obama campaign* tell Daily Intel that before settling on "Forward," they debated borrowing even more directly from other famous slogans. Among the early options the campaign considered: You’re in good hands with Obama Like a good neighbor, Obama is there Got health insurance? He's g-r-r-r-e-a-t! It's not TV, it's BHO You've come a long way,...
  • New Obama slogan has long ties to Marxism, Socialism (FORWARD!)

The Obama campaign apparently didn't look backwards into history when selecting its new campaign slogan, "Forward" — a word with a long and rich association with European Marxism. Many Communist and radical publications and entities throughout the 19th and 20th centuries had the name "Forward!" or its foreign cognates. Wikipedia has an entire section called "Forward (generic name of socialist publications)." "The name Forward carries a special meaning in socialist political terminology. It has been frequently used as a name for socialist, communist and other left-wing newspapers and publications," the online encyclopedia explains. The slogan "Forward!" reflected the conviction of...
