AP Photo by Charles DharapakCode Pink co-founder and Democrat activist Jodie Evans and President Barack Obama, Oct. 15, 2009 House Majority Whip Rep. James Clyburn (SC) recently accused Republicans of “aiding and abetting terrorism” [2] because of their support for the Tea Party movement. With all due respect, Rep. Clyburn needs to clean out his own party first before he has standing to say anything on the subject. Top Democrat Party activists Jodie Evans and Medea Benjamin,...

WASHINGTON - A year ago, an activist group from the Seattle area gave Howard Dean (news - web sites) a thin, golden statue of a backbone. The Oscar-like award honored the former Democratic presidential candidate and Vermont governor for standing up against the Iraq (news - web sites) war and other Bush administration policies. Now, as Dean settles into his new role as head of the Democratic Party, that golden spine has come to represent, for many liberal Democrats, Dean's potential to develop a tougher, take-no-prisoners attitude among the party faithful. "There's no gut-check required for Dean. Dean just needs...

Chief of the U.S. Military: Shut down Guantanamo Bay Published on 25 May 2009 by admin in General News, In The Media Admiral Mike Mullen stated it simply, “I’d like to see it shut down.” Mullen believes Guantanamo has significantly damaged the reputation of the United States, even going so far as to say (in other articles) that it has been a powerful recruiting tool for Islamic terrorists. Rand couldn’t agree more. Rand believes America can fight terrorism and maintain its moral integrity without resorting to offshore prison camps, “prolonged detention”, and other, highly questionable legal measures. For Rand, national...

Below is a video of Rand Paul with his pal Adam Kokesh talking about their common "movement". Read a report at Gathering of Eagles about James Bancroft's "mighty stand for truth" as he has resigned the Hartford Tea Party over their support for Peter Schiff who is part of this Libertarian "movement" with Adam Kokesh. Please read the whole post. There is no doubt in my mind that Ron Paul's libertarian movement is attempting to take over the Republican Party through co-opting the Tea Party movement. We've seen this here in Kentucky as a good chunk of our Tea Party...

He is certainly giving the GOP establishment fits,...

Protesters at a Washington, D.C. antiwar march whose leadership has ties to the Democrat party savagely 'murdered' an effigy of former Vice President Dick Cheney yesterday. The Washington Post, which this morning is headlining unsubstantiated allegations of racism by Tea Party protesters, buried their report of the the violent incident against Cheney with a one sentence mention:At Halliburton, protesters ripped apart a dummy of former vice president Richard B. Cheney and trampled the pieces. The march was organized by the ANSWER Coalition, a communist front group that has worked with former Democrat presidential candidates Al Sharpton and Jese Jackson, Chairman of the...

Yesterday, I wrote about Adam Kokesh and his anti-military, anti-American actions which would make him a poor representative for New Mexico. He’s running as a Republican in the primary, which is interesting considering his many affiliations with Marxist and liberal organizations, like CODEPINK, A.N.S.W.E.R., and of course, the Iraq Veterans Against the War. He’s a liar and a phony who has been arrested multiple times and encouraged soldiers in Germany to go AWOL. Yet now, he parades himself as some kind of Constitutional crusader. Fortunately, there is an alternative. Tom Mullins is also running as a Republican to represent New...

Before there was a nationwide, grass-roots Tea Party movement, there was another nationwide, grass-roots movement that brought thousands of Americans to Washington, D.C. They called themselves the “Gathering of Eagles.” I covered two massive, GoE rallies against the Soros-funded, anti-war Left in March 2007 and September 2007. GOE activists continue to expose the transnational progressives, anti-military bullies, and phonies who operate under the “peace” banner. One of the groups that GOE dogged was Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW) — whose members have included bomb-threat bullies and death-threat nutballs who threatened to assassinate me, fake Army vet Jesse MacBeth, and...

Adam Kokesh, candidate for the Republican nomination for the US House of Representatives from the Third District of New Mexico, is doing his best to deceive the electorate. He portrays himself as a libertarian conservative, but he is neither libertarian nor conservative (unless he reinvents himself again). Most egregiously, he is attempting to portray himself as a patriotic anti-war/anti-military veteran in a manner reminiscent of John Kerry and Vietnam Veterans against the War (VVAW), in which Kerry tarnished the valor of his brothers-in-arms in order to advance his political career. As did VVAW, Kokesh's Iraq Veterans against the War (IVAW)...

The following statement was prepared by Gathering of Eagles concerning Adam Kokesh. Kokesh is running for office in New Mexico. It is my belief that Adam Kokesh gave aid and comfort to the enemy in time of war. That means he is a traitor. And he is running for election as a GOP candidate in New Mexico. God help our nation.

Fox News and Judge Andrew Napolitano are shamelessly promoting a wartime traitor, Adam Kokesh of the communist front group Iraq Veterans Against the War (IVAW), as a Republican candidate for Congress. For the second time in recent months, Judge Napolitano has had Kokesh on his Fox News show, Freedom Watch, for a softball interview about Kokesh's Republican primary bid to represent New Mexico's 3rd District in the U.S. House of Representatives. There is no mention by Napolitano about Kokesh's involvement with terrorist supporting groups like IVAW and Code Pink, nor did Napolitano mention Kokesh's repeated disciplinary actions in the Marines that resulted...

Now, it is time for me to support him. “As a fellow Veteran, Adam understands the many challenges facing our brave men and women in Uniform and the steps we must take to strengthen our national defense. “Adam Kokesh has dedicated...

ALBANY — Angered by the defeat last year of a bill that would have allowed same-sex couples to marry, a group of well-financed gay rights advocates has started a political action committee to take aim at state senators who have opposed same-sex marriage. In total, the political action committee, called Fight Back New York, is prepared to raise and spend in the high six figures range in the State Senate races this year, according to people involved with the committee. Financing and organization will come, in part, from some of the most politically sophisticated and financially powerful gay rights advocates...

The rumors started about an hour before Glenn Beck was scheduled to speak, Sarah Palin was going to show up to introduce Beck. There was no way that was going to happen, Palin was not going to do a Cameo, it just didn't make sense. Glenn Beck didn't bring Palin along, but he did bring his "A" game (and his blackboard) as CPAC 2010 ended with a presentation that left the audience electrified and ready to act. Even before he arrived Beck's presence was in the Blogger's lounge. In recognition of the fact that his opinions are not too popular...

What Is it with Senator "Why The Long Face John" Kerry? When it comes to the war on terrorism, he's been wrong at every step along the road (well except for maybe the time he voted for funding the troops after he voted against it). When Kerry is on that road to fight terror he is usually traveling in reverse. Part of the problem is that Kerry tends to look at terrorism as a crime rather than an act of war. In a 2004 appearance on Fox news, Kerry spoke about his book The New War: He said, "In that book,...

Massachusetts senior U.S. Senator John Kerry provided a letter on Senate stationery that supported constituents who participated in last December’s anti-Israel, pro-Hamas Gaza Freedom March, led by President Barack Obama ally Code Pink. Democrat Representative Andre Carson of Indiana’s 7th District also provided a letter of support for participants in the so-called Gaza Freedom March. Kerry is chairman of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee and was the Democratic Party’s 2004 presidential nominee. In the letter, Kerry wrote that his staff met with the Massachusetts delegation before they left, and his staff would be briefed about the trip upon their return....

WASHINGTON – Rep. John Murtha has been hospitalized in intensive care stemming from complications related to gallbladder surgery. Spokesman Matt Mazonkey says the 77-year-old Pennsylvania congressman underwent scheduled surgery last week and is currently at Virginia Hospital Center in Arlington. Murtha was also hospitalized in December with gallbladder problems. The 19-term Democrat was the first Vietnam veteran to serve in Congress. He leads the powerful House Appropriations subcommittee on defense spending.
