The Oswego man accused of killing his wife and three children is now in protective custody at the Will County jail. Christopher Vaughn was placed in the jail's medical unit after he was extradited from Missouri. His wife and three children were found shot to death in their s-u-v in Channahon in June. He was later charged with their murders. Because of the nature of the charges, Vaughn was placed in protective custody where he would have a private cell and have limited contact with other inmates.
