"FOX News Sunday" anchor Chris Wallace reacts to Attorney General Bill Barr's interview with FNC's Bill Hemmer. (snip) CHRIS WALLACE, FOX NEWS: As somebody who does interviews for a living, when you watch somebody else do interviews you always say, "Well gee, I would have asked or what about?" .... And what really comes across to me most of all is that for two years Donald Trump sat there and said, "I don't have an attorney general. I don't have somebody out there looking for an (sic) protecting my interests." He clearly has that now with Bill Barr. Not saying...

Truncated title. Full title: Matthews: ‘Gross’ To Say Hillary Had Anything To Do With Amb. Stevens’ Death, ‘I Don’t Care’ What Victim’s Mother Felt During MSNBC’s coverage of the Republican National Convention, host Chris Matthews reacted to a speech given by Susan Smith, who’s son Sean was killed in the Benghazi terror attacks, “I don’t care what that woman up there, the mother has felt, her emotions are her own, but for the country, in choosing a leader, it’s wrong to have someone get up there and tell a lie about Hillary Clinton.”

Among the more intriguing results from Tuesday’s primary contests, the crowded race to fill the heavily-Democratic Eighth Congressional District in Maryland featured none other than the wife of Hardball host Chris Matthews whose candidacy included accusations that the couple leveraged their coziness with the D.C. and Hollywood elite for campaign donations. Unfortunately, MSNBC made no mention of this race during their live results coverage when polls closed at 8:00 p.m. Eastern until 1:00 a.m. Eastern and along with the MSNBC personality being absent from the coverage due the the campaign but, most importantly, that Kathleen Matthews finished in third.

Donald Trump likes to say he's running a campaign unlike any other. He's willing to do the things other candidates won't. Sometimes there's a reason nobody's touching the hot stove. Today, the GOP front-runner learned what happens when a candidate goes off-script on abortion. The remarks came while Trump was being asked by MSNBC’s Chris Matthews during a pre-taped town hall about the practical implications of banning abortion nationwide. Matthews specifically pressed Trump on the criminal consequences women would face for seeking abortions if Roe v. Wade, the Supreme Court decision that legalized abortion nationwide, were overturned. “This is not...

SILVER SPRING M.D. - There's a female candidate currently running for office who refuses to answer questions about shady dealings, promotes ability to accomplish legislation while knocking Republicans, and denies her wealth. But it's not Hillary Clinton, it's Chris Matthews' wife Kathleen Matthews, who is running for Congress in Maryland's eighth district. During a Sunday candidate forum at the Democratic Club of Leisure World in front of crowd of mostly seniors, Matthews revealed that her husband spends time calling Rep. Chris Van Hollen's office because, "he's not getting his social security check." This is despite his reported $5 million annual...

CHRIS MATTHEWS: I was listening to [David] Brat last night, and today. I hink he's very sophisticated for a politician. He's certainly up to the ranks of most politicians I've ever dealt with. He speaks in a speculative manner and an intellectual manner. He can handle any debate on this program or my program. This looking down our noses at tea party people has got to stop. They have a message, they're as American as any liberal is, and they're really angry about the failure of the system. I was over covering eastern Europe when the wall came down. The...

(VIDEO-AT-LINK)Liberal MSNBC host Chris Matthews continued his attacks on the Obama administration for the trade of five dangerous Taliban prisoners for Army Sgt. Bowe Bergdahl, slamming the White House’s claim that soldiers who served with Bergdahl are “swift-boating” him and asking “where is the dishonesty in the portrayal?” of Bergdahl as a deserter. Matthews, who strongly questioned the trade even while facts continued to pour in on Monday, has been the only host on his network so far to even remotely challenge the Obama administration’s narrative on the prisoner trade and Bergdahl’s history of service. And on Wednesday, he angrily...

Most Americans view Christmas as a time to consider such lofty things as peace on earth and good will toward men. Not MSNBC’s Chris Matthews who actually devoted his entire Christmas Eve Hardball show to mercilessly attacking eleven conservatives with assistance from a panel of some of the most conservative-hating liberals in the nation (video follows with transcript and commentary): Chris Matthews Devotes Entire Christmas Eve Show to Mercilessly Attacking Conservatives CHRIS MATTHEWS: Hello, I'm Chris Matthews in Washington. You know, politicians on the right have done some disturbing and destructive things this year. They derailed every major legislative item...

The fight for Christmas took a hit this week when politics bigfooted a troupe of adorable little ballet dancers performing “The Nutcracker.” MSNBC’s Chris Matthews is scheduled to interview President Obama on Thursday night at American University as part of the “Hardball College Tour.” MSNBC approached AU to host the chat, and officials jumped at the chance for a free, hour-long commercial for the university and its students. But the interview, announced Tuesday morning, abruptly kicked the Ballet Petite’s rehearsals of”The Nutcracker” out of AU’s Greenberg Theatre. That didn’t sit well with the ballet school’s staff, teachers and parents who...

MSNBC’s Chris Matthews calls Obama the ‘perfect American’ — again MSNBC host Chris Matthews just can’t say enough nice things about President Obama. Already remembered for 2008 remarks about Mr. Obama’s speech sending a “thrill” up his leg, Mr. Matthews has now suggested the president may be “the perfect American.” Mr. Matthews‘ comments on Wednesday’s episode of “Hardball” came in context of discussion of Southern Poverty Law Center findings of a correlation between White House pushes for gun control and a rise in patriot group memberships. “I look at Obama as perfect American,” Mr. Matthews said, according to the show’s...

Alongside a slew of Hollywood celebrities, mayors such as New York’s Michael Bloomberg, Chicago’s Rahm Emanuel and St. Paul’s own Chris Coleman are calling for more gun control and taking the NRA to task for calling for armed guards in every school. Coleman, a vice president of the National League of Cities, released the following statement on the Newtown, Conn. tragedy on Friday, Dec. 21. "On the day when we’re still burying children killed in Newtown, CT, the NRA has the audacity to say the answer is more guns and more violence that exposes our children to unprecedented dangers. As...

MSNBC’s liberal pundits are seemingly none-too-pleased with President Obama’s debate performance. Especially Chris Matthews, the host who famously said that the president sent a “thrill” up his leg during the 2008 Democratic primaries. Clearly disappointed in Obama’s performance, Matthews lamented to host Rachel Maddow: “This tonight wasn’t an MSNBC debate, was it? It just wasn’t,” he said. “I don’t know what he was doing out there. He had his head down. He was enduring the debate rather than fighting it. Romney came out with a campaign,” continued Matthews.

In February of 2008, NewsBusters first highlighted MSNBC’s Chris Matthews oozing “I felt this thrill going up my leg” while listening to a speech by Barack Obama. Conservatives reminding him of it has certainly annoyed Chris Matthews ever since, so much so that he lashed out at C-SPAN’s Steve Scully, sinking to including the non-profit cable network’s senior executive producer as amongst the “jackasses” who dare to ask him about his infamous Obamagasm moment. The confirmation of Matthews’ incredibly thin skin came Tuesday at a panel session during the National Cable and Telecommunications Association’s convention in Boston. “I hope you...

Eric Cantor: potentially responsible for the death of school kids. That was the despicable depth to which Chris Matthews has sunk in his desperate attempt to stir up support for President Obama's latest stimulus scheme. On this afternoon's Hardball, Matthews suggested that by refusing to spend hundreds of billions on PBO's latest list of supposedly shovel-ready projects, Virginia Republican Rep. Cantor is endangering the lives of kids riding school buses across ostensibly rickety bridges in his district. The Hardball host helpfully ran a scroll of all such bridges in Cantor's district. Newsweek Editor Wins 'Obamagasm' Award: Obama 'Sort of God' Monday, May 09, 2011 By Eric Scheiner (CNSNews.com) - The Media Research Center held it’s 2011 Gala and DisHonors Awards event this past Saturday. The DisHonors awards recognizes and roasts the liberal media’s worst moments, with winners in several different categories and an overall ‘winner’ with a ‘Quote Of the Year’. In the “Obamagasm Award” category, the winner was Newsweek Editor Evan Thomas who said, “Reagan [at the 1984 D-Day commemoration] was all about America, and you talked about it. Obama is, ‘We are above that now. We're not just parochial,...

Let me finish tonight in what I believe is an important statement on the Presidency of Ronald Reagan. I should start with a pair of complaints. I think the stewardship of this planet is vital - literally - to the living things upon it - that includes us. Since we are the only thinking beings on it, we have the innate duty to protect it. I don't think Ronald Reagan took that duty to heart. It got in the way of his belief of unbound free enterprise. Honestly, I don't see how we can call "free" enterprises that destroy the...

As NewsBusters previously reported, Chris Matthews on Tuesday blamed conservative talk radio hosts Mark Levin and Michael Savage for creating the climate of hate that led to Saturday's shootings in Tucson, Arizona. On Wednesday, FBN's Don Imus and his sidekick Bernard McGuirk went after the "angry," "vile," "psycho," "spittle-spewing" MSNBCer (video follows with transcript and commentary): As NewsBusters previously reported, Chris Matthews on Tuesday blamed conservative talk radio hosts Mark Levin and Michael Savage
