The only female GOP presidential candidate, Carly Fiorina, former Hewlett Packard CEO, is ranking in the top ten among the GOP presidential candidates in two national polls. Fiorina has often been critical of the female Democratic frontrunner Hillary Clinton and has said she wants the opportunity to debate Clinton. Carly Fiorina just set the bar on how to answer questions about abortion from the media. In short, she did answer the question directly from CNN’s Jake Tapper on a Wisconsin law that bans abortion after 20 weeks without exception, but only AFTER she made sure to point out Hillary’s extremism on abortion that the media completely ignores, as well as hammering Planned Parenthood over the recent videos exposing them selling baby body parts from abortions. It was impressive.

Why do I think she is running a smart race? She is transparent — she opened up her tax returns to the media for inspection. So..not just talking about transparency, but doing it…and doing it first. She is going hard for the women’s vote — preemptively trying to get that vote from Secretary Clinton (to the extent any women or anyone votes only on gender.) She has hit feminism hard and is giving women a choice. She is competing strong with the men. She seems like ‘one of the boys’ rather than the token woman candidate. And you know what...
