Went there. I’m beginning to think that there is an emasculation drug in the D.C. water supply. Regarding Obamacare, 2.0 or otherwise, pretty much everyone up there on “our side” is underperforming. A lot of current reps need to be “primaried”.

It seems to me that there are two different genres of #NeverTrumpers: RINOs, and some actual Conservatives. We lump the two together at our peril.

Trump is doing great work in many areas, but his joining with Ryan on Obamacare 2.0 was rightly opposed by the FC. With government health care, reportedly one sixth of the economy, in place in any form it will eventually undermine virtually any other gain that Trump might accomplish, especially in subsequent administrations. It is cancer.

Trump decided to join with RINO/GOPe and fight the Freedom Caucus.

IMHO...wrong choice. Working with GOPe, or Democrats, furthers our demise. Working with conservatives can only be a good thing.

In view of the support that Trump has now with the grass roots and outlets like his twitter account and Breitbart, not to mention his mass participation speeches and the Bully Pulpit, I think it is likely that Trump would have the upper hand in any shutdown scenario. Congress might want to tread lightly in that regard as they can not use common sense arguments against him.

Well said, Jim. My sentiments exactly. Trump MUST know any compromise on Obamacare is a win for the establishment and will very possibly destroy his base support.

My thoughts exactly. I want complete silence out of the military establishment. I would prefer to see confused MSM media reports trying to get their minds wrapped around the sudden disintegration of jihadist entities around the world.

The proposed spit and creation of the SoJ would be an excellent solution to an otherwise hopeless situation for the people in the aggrieved counties. Last summer I drove up the central valley and saw “Farmers for Trump” signs everywhere. Rural Californians truly suffer under the tyranny of the masses there.

As noted in the article, this would not be a secession from the Union but merely a split of one state into two, and would be highly beneficial to those of us who value the nation as founded (the 53 percent, so to speak). The apportionments noted would also be at state level, not federal level, which the state could do as it wished. I wish them luck in the endeavor.

Very accurate depiction of the leftist mental process.
From simple observation, the self hating leftist creates a scaffold, a force field, if you will, projecting his own flaws upon anyone or anything other than himself and raging against them. Whenever the self known personal flaws of such an individual or his thesis are pointed out out by an observer, the scaffold must either collapse or be reinforced with violent accusatory rhetoric aimed at the observer. Debate cannot take place. Only rage.

I appreciate your response, Mom of Patriots. Thanks. Conservative definitely doesn't mean the same to everyone. People have been lied to and treated like dirt by government and the media for so long now, I understand the hatred, the rancor on both sides, but this is Freeperville, where cooler heads should reign. No insult intended to either camp, but we're on the cusp of a really great coup here. We need everyone on the same boat at the end of the primary, whatever it takes, to make it happen.

I guess one might look at it as the establishment lying down with Cruz, in order to oust Donald, the objective of both. Once that is accomplished, if it is even possible, they will then get out of bed and attack Cruz. I would imagine both candidates understand that. I fervently believe that both leading candidates are loathsome to the establishment, Cruz especially, regardless of any appearance to the contrary. But divide and concquer is the main operating mode of the establishment, and it appears that they’ve done their job well here in the primaries. If we remain divided after the candidate is chosen, we fall.
