ORANGE PARK, Fla. -- Five months into an investigation into the abduction and killing of 7-year-old Somer Thompson, who was abducted and killed on her way home from her Orange Park elementary school, a man named earlier this year as a person of interest in the case was charged with murder. Jarred Harrell, arrested in Mississippi on child pornography charges last month and extradited to Clay County, was charged at 6 a.m. Friday with premeditated murder and sexual battery.
