Hopefully she'll be smart enough to decline.
On the other hand, it might be good to have at least one non-marxist on the Board.
She won’t decline — and it helps explain why she did such a lousy job as Bush’s spokesperson.
By the time, she had the job nobody was listening any more.

Perhaps — but those of us laboring under the conservative banner in the field sure would have like to have heard something positive. Her problem was that you can’t sell what you don’t buy.
Probably so.
And while I don't know specifically about this Board, I do know the law often mandates that a Board or Commission have no more than a certain number of members from a given party. So the TOTUS is sometimes required to appoint Republicans -- for example, to the FCC, FTC, SEC, etc.
Broadcasting Board of Governors...are they the ones that direct NPR and PBS?
