"Exclusive: Upcoming Cover Story on Edmonds. . .Alleges State Dept. Mole at NYTimes; MUCH MORE..."
Brad's Blog - American Conservative ^ | September 21, 2009 | Walsh

On Friday, we reported on the coming exclusive American Conservative cover story interview with formerly-gagged FBI translator turned whistleblower Sibel Edmonds by quoting the magazine's own teaser description of the piece as "explosive".

Over the weekend, we received an embargoed look at the final version of the AmCon interview by former CIA officer Phil Giraldi, and yes, "explosive", may be a vast understatement. At least if the U.S. corporate media bothers to notice it this time.

Giraldi's article in The American Conservative should be on newsstands and on the Internet, in full, at their website by Tuesday

State Dept. Mole at NYTimes;

A "Russian Mole at the CIA" would mean a Russian person who had infiltrated the CIA.

You mean a State Dept. employee has infiltrated the NYT?

The thing is, the folks at DU are interested in Edmonds, too...

So, what kind of barrel of monkeys are we looking at here?

Maybe they just think the fallout can all be blamed on Bush.

Convoluted and far-fetched. Dennis Hastert was blackmailed? Dem Congresswoman “blackmailed” into lesbian affair? And not one mention of Obama. I don’t like this. Seems diversionary at best.

Excerpt from the article:

“In Giraldi’s AmCon interview, Edmonds again repeats that she doesn’t know if the Congresswoman “ever was actually blackmailed or did anything for the Turkish woman”, but she does name her name this time...

The Congresswoman in question, according to Edmonds, is Illinois’ 9th-district Rep. Jan Schakowsky.”

Ya can't get this old codger to think that the corrupt/elitist media is going to notice. Since the old days that Bubba was to be thrown out of office by sundown & all that happened was a slap on the wrist.....no, I won't bite for it.

Does this Congresswoman belong to a party? I mean the other Congressmen had either R or D in front of their names.

“Seems diversionary at best.”

Fifth columnists are working overtime now that the usual crap didn't work to get the Democrat agenda through. If the Dems can get the crap they spewed for the last four years of Bush started up again they figure enough people will be distracted so that they can push their agenda through. Look at where Cindy Sheehan is again, at the Bush ranch the same as before. What are the Dems yelling about instead of ACORN? Racism, of course, anything to get some degree of distraction going and fragment the anger against the current crowd.

Regards

I know yours was a rhetorical question, but yes, she’s a Democrat and a hard-left one, virtual Communist at that.

It sounds as if almost all her accusations were against Republicans, including some who, I think, are NOT likely to have been corrupt.

It also sounds as if this included stuff done on behalf of Israel via Turkey, since at the time Turkey was working with Israel.

This latest business involves a Democrat. But I think a lot of work would need to be be done to separate the genuine scandal from a lot of kneejerk partisan attacks on Bush and the Republicans.

I notice that some of this also goes back to 1997, which would involve clinton.

So, I’d reserve judgment on all of this.

“You mean a State Dept. employee has infiltrated the NYT?”

It would make sense the other way around. Why have a spy in an organization that WANTS other people to know what it talks about and produces. So unless you are the managing editor or some other high fahluttin mucky-muck that influences what the rag prints, it just doesn’t make sense.

Odd. I would have thought that, with this administration, the State Dept is getting its information FROM the NYTimes (and ABCNNBCBS) ....

Filtered of course, through the UN and any nearby Muslim terrorist sponsors....
