Now is the time for state legislatures (especially in Georgia, Arizona, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin and Nevada) to step-up and ensure the integrity of our election. And NOW is the time for us to help them do their job. They need us to push them and offer meaningful suggestions. The US Constitution grants only to the state legislatures the ability to run the elections. Whether or not a legislature gives the authority to operate an election (ie: through the Secretary of State), the ultimate authority remains with the state legislature. This authority cannot be changed without a constitutional amendment. The Secretary...

I've been monitoring the Georgia vote by county since the election. Something strange has happened. In Georgia this morning, the SOS reported all counties as fully counted. If that were the case, then Trump would have remained ahead. Then, they apparently "found" a bunch of extra votes in Wisconsin. Yesterday morning, according the the NY Times numbers per county, they had counted 452,880 ballots and it showed that over 98% of total votes were counted. As of right now, they still show Fulton county as >98% counted. However, the total votes counted is currently shown as 508,389. In other words,...

Interesting poll linked on Drudge. The crosstabs show Trump getting 26.22% of black vote, 40.71 of Latino vote, and 48% of Asian vote and almost 50% of female vote!

I don't know if it's been posted here yet, but O'Reilly conducted his own poll by having graduate students contact 250 people from both parties in every state (25,000 people). The result was shocking. 86% Trump and 14% Hillary. I am not attesting to the validity of the poll, but even if you half Trump's numbers and double hers, he still wins the popular vote by a wide margin. Keep in mind that there are more red states than blue, and Democrats in Red states tend to be more conservative than their blue-state liberals. This would skew the results some...

On Tuesday morning, all three met with a staffer and were driven to the restaurant and arrived shortly before Obama. The three said the restaurant workers and other patrons received notice only a few minutes before the president arrived. Foeller and Dilley said Obama ate half of a cheese sandwich and skipped the ham in his split pea soup. "He's a pretty tall and slender guy," said Dilley. "Maybe that's why."

November 20, 2009 Dear Senator Bayh, I tried to call your Washington and Indianapolis offices, but the voice mail boxes were full. I am writing this email to you to plead with you not to vote to bring this health care bill up for senate vote. NOTE: A vote for it now IS a vote to allow it to eventually pass because, as you know, it is quite possible you can vote against its final version knowing full-well that there will be enough votes for it's final passage because the vote requirements are fewer. There are many reasons why you...

As of this posting, Thune is leading by over 2000 votes with 490 of 827 precincts reported. What people should realize is that SD is in two time zones. The western half votes overwhelmingly Republican...especially Pennington county. The 2nd largest city in SD as well as Edwards Air Force base are located in Pennington. None of these 46 precincts have reported, meaning Thune stands a very good chance of increasing his lead.

I've been debating whether or not to post this as I don't intend to open up a religous discussion on this thread. However, election time is drawing near, and our liberties are at stake. I've heard repeated calls on FR to get out and vote. I encourage that as well. Many have said that this election will depend on which party does better with their "get out and vote" methods. We must certainly do our best. However, I would like to take it a step further. This election may be beyond our control, but we need to recognize that there...

FWI: I just heard that Indiana congresswoman Julia Carson (Indianapolis area) just walked out of a debate. She says that she can hardly stand to be in the room with her opponent. She says that she's that her feelings have been hurt due to "negative ads" by her opponent. However, her Republican opponent says that it's not his ads, but from done an outside group. He says that he's not responsible and wishes that they don't put those type of ads on TV...even though they're truthful. He said he won't ask them to remove the ads. I think the ads...

Let's tap the brilliant and creative minds of our fellow freepers and come up with some great campaign ideas assuming Lautenberg is allowed on the ticket. Hopefully, we can give the Republicans some good ideas.

Now is the time to contact the President to stop the campaign finance reform laws. He has taken an oath to uphold the laws of the land. Let's hold him to it. This is a clear violation of free speech. The White House comment line phone number is: 202-456-1111 Be sure to hold for someone instead of going to the comment line voice mail. The mailbox is full--as expected. Do your part and call now. Snowmen on Christmas cards reinforce traditional gender stereotypes by reflecting men in prominent, public roles and women in private, domestic situations, according to new research. Art historian Dr Tricia Cusack believes the festive figures represent a return to a more conservative, patriarchal view of society than exists today. The Birmingham University academic, who studies cultural meanings in visual imagery, was prompted to research the topic after shopping for Christmas cards. "Snowmen in representations on cards were becoming more and more common and a kind of icon up there with Father Christmas, robins and holly. It's become even more marked in ...

If so, please let me know. I think she is the unsung hero in this whole mess. I'd like to send her some flowers for Christmas. I encourage others to do the same. -Trackman

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I just checked abcnews.com to compare the SCOTUS transcript with Drudge's report, which I then also compared with my audio tape recording. The page of transcript with Breyer's controversial "whether we win" comment has been omitted. Start at http://www.abcnews.go.com/sections/politics/DailyNews/scotuselex4.html and click on "next page." If you listed to the audio, you will find approx. 1 page of dialogue missing. Can anyone offer an explanation?
