The Iraq War is supposed to be “ended,” or so the administration claimed, but the heavily armed “terrorist army” ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and al-Sham) is rampaging through Iraq and has taken control of a chemical weapons complex. The Telegraph reports: The jihadist group bringing terror to Iraq overran a Saddam Hussein chemical weapons complex on Thursday, gaining access to disused stores of hundreds of tonnes of potentially deadly poisons including mustard gas and sarin. . Isis invaded the al-Muthanna mega-facility 60 miles north of Baghdad in a rapid takeover that the US government said was a matter of...

SCIENCE NOW KNOWS THAT MANY OF THE PILLARS OF DARWINIAN THEORY ARE EITHER FALSE OR MISLEADING. YET BIOLOGY TEXTS CONTINUE TO PRESENT THEM AS FACTUAL EVIDENCE OF EVOLUTION. WHAT DOES THIS IMPLY ABOUT THEIR SCIENTIFIC STANDARDS?

If you had a chance to interview President Obama, what would you ask him? ABC's George Stephanopoulos, in coordination with Yahoo, sits down for an exclusive live interview with the president at the White House. No doubt, some of the interview will focus on the president's handling of the economy, his jobs plan and whether he thinks he can turn his political prospects around ahead of next year's presidential election. But the real question is what do you want to know? Stephanopoulos will be posing some audience questions to the president. More than 40,000 Yahoo! readers submitted their questions for...

KING, N.C. – The Christian flag is everywhere in the small city of King: flying in front of barbecue joints and hair salons, stuck to the bumpers of trucks, hanging in windows and emblazoned on T-shirts. The relatively obscure emblem has become omnipresent because of one place it can't appear: flying above a war memorial in a public park. The city council decided last month to remove the flag from above the monument in Central Park after a resident complained, and after city leaders got letters from the American Civil Liberties Union and Americans United for the Separation of Church...

I'm watching a re-run for a minute, while O-Reilly (Laura Ingram filling in) is away on commericals, of the HGTV design star show...and this designer comes up with "Japanese-eco". Can I get paid ga-zillions if I come up with one? How about "popsicle stick red-neck"? I bet I could make an entire room full of furniture if I had enough popsicles and super glue! Liberals. It's bad enough they think they're saving the planet with this "re-purposing" insanity.

"While Woodstock rocked, GI's died" is the cover article. 109 died in Vietnam during the 4 days Woodstock was held from Aug 15-18, 1969. 'Time', 'Newsweek' and various other liberal rags are not only lifting up the various hippies and drug addicts, but made remarks like: "it may well rank as one of the significat political and sociological events of the age", and "deplored the 3 deaths that occured there" (one a heroin overdose), mentions the "need for more authentic service" and so on but refers to the Vietnam war as a "meaningless war in the jungles of southeast asia"...

CNN's, Anderson Cooper interviewing Sarah Palin's spokeswoman and she descirbes a point guard passing the ball and the smug Anderson Cooper says he doesn't know anything about basketball, then says he's clueless about sports in general. Weren't these the same idiots that bashed Palin for not knowing anything?

AF Colonel Cleared of Promoting Religion April 02, 2009 Stars and Stripes|by Steve Mraz An Air Force colonel has been cleared in an investigation into whether an e-mail she sent to her airmen violated the military’s stance of religious neutrality. Col. Kimberly Toney, commander of the 501st Combat Support Wing at RAF Alconbury, sent an e-mail on Jan. 16 referring airmen to an "inspirational" video on a Roman Catholic Web site. The video featured the life of Nick Vujicic, who was born without arms or legs. In the video, Vujicic says he finds his "greatest joy in this life is...

Update: Troubling Changes in Washington If there was any doubt about how aggressively the new President would move to implement his agenda on social and family issues, it has vanished on the first full day of his Administration. At 12:01 p.m. Tuesday, literally the instant the transition was official, President Obama’s official White House website was updated to reflect new policies favoring abortion and opposing the traditional definition of marriage. Our Government Affairs team reports that the scope of expected changes on these issues looks to be sweeping. A few of the more troubling potential changes to be enacted in...

– Israel's crushing aerial assault on Gaza has caused a significant shift in the country's mood, replacing lingering helplessness and frustration over Hamas rocket attacks with a sense of might and vindication. Leaders who were unpopular only a week ago have suddenly surged in the public's esteem. But that could change quickly if the fighting drags on or Israel starts taking heavy casualties. In downtown Ashkelon, a southern Israeli city that has come under rocket fire, a pair of plumbers hung up a handwritten sign praising the Gaza operation's mastermind, Defense Minister Ehud Barak. That's a dramatic change for Barak,...

'Multiverse' Theory Fails to Explain Away God by Brian Thomas, M.S. New discoveries continue to reveal the life-friendly properties of our universe, in which physical laws are seemingly fine-tuned to allow life to exist. To get around the appearance of design, secular scientists have to invent naturalistic explanations that exclude the possibility of supernatural origins. The latest of these inventions is “multiverses.” The force of gravity, the specific masses of subatomic particles, the exact strengths of fundamental physical forces, and the distance of the earth from other galaxies and from the sun are all essential for the delicate balance needed...

Strength For The Journey New Creation People Part 1 August 4, 2005 Is Evolution A Fact? READ: Genesis 2:1-7, Hebrews 11:1-3 By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God. —Hebrews 11:3The theory of evolution is not without its problems. One scientist says this about life starting on its own: "Amino acids would have to be arranged in an exact sequence to form a protein . . . just like the letters in a sentence. Mere laws of chemistry and physics cannot do that. The probability of a protein forming by chance would be 1064...

I've been looking at these cool little remote-control toy helicopters for my 12 year old son, but does anyone have any experience with ones to get OR ones to avoid? I'm worried about getting one that only flies for 5 minutes before it needs re-charging, or breaks sooner than that, or is underpowered etc. etc. Any insight is much appreciated!

Christmas Wars On: Thomas More Law Center Asks Christians to Retake the Public Square for ChristmasNovember 25, 2008 ANN ARBOR, MI — For the last several years, the Thomas More Law Center, a national nonprofit public interest law firm based in Ann Arbor, Michigan, has been successfully defending the right of Christians to display nativity scenes on public property and to celebrate Christmas in public schools. In years past and still today, the Law Center has asked thousands of supporters to go on the offensive – where there has been no nativity display before, ask the government for permission to...

OUTLINE Tuesday, October 28, 2008, Part 3 Hebrews 11 IDEA: Faith is often misunderstood as being much less than a dynamic trust in the living God. PURPOSE: To help listeners identify false definitions of faith that can trip them up. Christians can stumble over Hebrews 11 because they have some misconceptions of what faith is. George Guthrie examines some misconceptions about faith which can trip us up. He notes two that are often found in the broader non-Christian culture. I. Some misunderstand faith as "a blind leap into the unknown." Some Christians and those who are hostile to religion may...

I'm sitting here watching local news at all the irrate citizens ticked off because the city of Atlanta is cutting fire, police and other services in the middle of a crime wave. AGAIN. Well, keep voting for hypocrats! That'll fix it right up! Surely! (As in Shirley Franklin.) Now they're talking about picking up trash every OTHER week. Sheesh the place is already a stinking failure, so why not! I live some 37 miles east but work inside the perimeter mostly. It never ever ceases to amaze me that these people can not see the destructiveness of unhinged liberalism time...
