The one argument Texas would have is they lost away, we lost on a neutral field. With that said, the OU/TX game was close and might have changed with one call.
The OU/TT game was incredible. It was over when it was 14-0 and they didn’t score on 4th down.
I went expecting to loose. Our defense hadn’t looked that good to me this year (hard to stay focused when the game is over in the first quarter), they were amazing yesterday.
If we play like last night we won’t be stopped. If we stumble next week I’ll have to root for UT. Dang, that’s hard to say!
It sucks for Texas but they should have beaten Tech.
In the first half of that game they looked like they were A&M or Baylor.
The wife is pure Auburn,sure am glad the Iron Bowl is played after Thanksgiving.

Oklahoma after Texas? And Florida #2. Ridiculous. The playoff system has to be implemented, and if the powers that be had brains they’d change the rules now and put it into place. If the teams keep winning this year will be another in which the “real” #2 teams won’t get to play for the championship.
It’ll be fun when Auburn knocks Alabama out of the #1 spot in the Iron Bowl Saturday.

They should just have Alabama and Florida play for the national championship in the SEC title game.

I disagree. As Texas has beat Oklahoma they should be no worse that #3. This being a AP pole, it has always showed Texas lower than the BCS listing.
