Was this a special election and the candidates are running again in two months? How does Palin get another shot in two months? Is the other GOP candidate running again as well?
He would use the platform to push his message, increase viewership of his show, and sell books.
He can't use the platform of his show once he announces his intention to run. If his interest is pushing his message, increasing viewership of his show, and selling books, he should stick with the "platform" he already has. No?
In sum, the local governments would be responsible for the debts of the Reedy Creek entity - BUT it would also take over ownership of the entity's assets.
That makes more sense. Whomever owns the debt controls the assets and will be expected to charge rent or impose some fees to retire that debt over time.
Malone is mainly against young people and children taking the vaccine IIRC. He thinks for young males, especially, the risk for myocarditis outweighs the risk of contracting Covid-19 (i.e. most get well and then have natural immunity).
His strength is as an executive, not a legislator. It would be a terrible move. He has enough excess baggage as it is. In any event, he may milk this idea but ultimately will pass on it, imho.
Lots of downside if he wants to run in 2024. Speakers are universally despised. They’re hated by 100% of the minority party and 50% of their own party.
So if he has a 30K lead now, and the majority of GOP ballots (12K) vote for him, and all the unaffiliated and Dem ballots for for the Dem (28k), he still wins by 14K votes, no?
Exactly. You can't brainstorm like that on a national stage in front of an extremely hostile and disingenuous press.
He should never have put out a statement that he was being sarcastic. His gut instinct was fine there, but it just wasn't the right place for brainstorming.
VP Pence seems like such a good and competent guy. I see why Trump trusts him so much. He sees Pence as having really complementary strengths to his witnesses.
